The lambing is in full swing. If I has a lamb, I would call him Bamber. | Click to see full-size image. |
If you has two lambs you could call the other one Black Betty

Lovely shot of the kite Red, you're really getting good at the bird photography!!
Lambing here too, herd's complaining they're early, thankfully a freak warm spell has helped with that, but he'd to take the pregnant ewes out of the field by us. "They lambs are ower muckle, and ower early, we'll tak'em in bye the fairm tae keep an ee oan them." Those lambs are too big & too early, we'll take in beside the farm to keep an eye on them. They lost one through a difficult birth before the decision, and the farm's about 3 miles off so I suppose it makes sense. We can tell how many are born though because every few days he brings a few back with their lambs.
Alpacas.

Saw this today. It was carrying a mouse. Just after I took the photo and lowered the camera it transferred it to it's beak, which would have made a much better shot. | Click to see full-size image. |
Rod. Do you think that is this kite? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Kite
