Didn't you say that those tennis balls have to be removed from the onion bag or the little birdies can get snared?

And would you go about arranging the feeders so that pesky pigeons can't gobble all the food up?

Yes, and yes.

I appear to have omitted a word, that should have read:

And how would you go about arranging the feeders so those perky pigeons can't gobble all of the food up?

There was a nice mistle thrush taking advantage of the flooded out worms on the lawn this morning.

I managed to get one shot off but I rushed it and it's not really in focus. I didn't get a second chance cause she buggered off.

Most feeders are designed so that it's very difficult for pigeons to perch Ralph, but look at Milly's set up, he's created an open goal.

It has a very broad definition. See wiki  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephemeral

I was watching a TV programme just now and they said that LA County Coroners office handles an average of 200 bodies a day.

That set me to googling, and I stumbled across this.

The LA County Coroners office has a Gift Shop!

Only in America.

Yes, well spotted, but in this context it's a technicality Jase. It will still eat all the food and bully the smaller birds. (A bit like Caroline Cougar really)

i've yet to have the pleasure of meeting The Cougar, and obviously at my age it's too late, but I can't imagine her ever being collared
