Program / programme. I never noticed the distinction. Thank you.
Great post BTW. (I love it when people wax nostalgic) That site is amazing.

I have a busy couple of days coming up. 'Uncle Sam' (My elder, not my uncle) died last week, and will be buried on Wednesday, so that means we will be sitting up tonight. Ironic then that I've been awake since 3am this morning.
After the funeral on Wednesday I have to go straight to Birmingham for a 7pm meeting, then a night in a hotel before a series of meetings on Thursday.
Thursday night has been earmarked for drinks, socialising, and generally enjoying yourself. I will be doing a swerve. I don't like enjoying myself.

I have the telly on in the background. They're showing a re-run of Quincey ME, a 1970's TV series starring Jack Klugman as a medical examiner who used to solve cases by shouting at people.

Working from home today.
Setup the lappy in the dining room right in front of the bird-feeder. They have been munching their asses off. Had the first robin I have seen in my garden, but it was a bit on edge and as soon as i moved for the camera it scuppered. Also it was very skinny. I'm guessing they fatten up for the winter?
Another thing i learnt. You are told to clean out the feeders every so often as the birds contain parasites which can be transmitted to humans.
Be careful out there.

New birds are always nervous at first Milly. Let them settle for a little while before you try to photograph them.

What a life! Every time he seemingly retired, he was back at work the next day, starting a new adventure. Great link Tom. RIP Tony Hunter-Choat.
