I suppose..... $12 to go into Yellowstone on foot! Just because it's the case elsewhere doesn't make it right though. The other examples quoted (Chatsworth / Tower of London etc are private properties, but Yellowstone is just part of a country. It's ridiculous IMO to charge someone a fee for visiting part of their own country.
