It's like enormous.  You know, like really, really big.

In a restaurant in Copenhagen, we asked the waitress what a particular dish was on the Danish menu.  She replied "it's like chicken" and was met with a chorus of "but what exactly is it".  After admitting that it was actually chicken and not some substitute, she wandered off (mentally noting that she should in future just pretend not to speak English whenever a party of middle-aged Scots enquired about the menu)

Yes, it's usually the eastern Europeans trying to sell their wares in our local shopping mall centre. I usually reply 'you just did'  and walk off.

I know they are only trying to do their job but if I wanted their product I'd bloody well ask.
