Just checked back on Africam.
It's dark now, but it sounds like there's a lion there. Either that, or a monkey with a chain saw.

Red dog , undisputed master of mirth.
Fabulous story telling.
You don't get stuff like that on the cement diary.

I reckon that Dolly hasn't actually been working, well not in the way you think she has, but has actually been carefully schooled by Ben over the last year in the dark arts of being awkward especially to give you a hard time and to get your story-telling juices flowing again.

Loved the horse story Tom.
Was that the one that I saw at your place last year?

Next week I will be away for a fortnight.
Mrs Red & I will be going campering in Welsh Wales. We will mostly be pottering about somewhere along the coast between Cardiff and Rhyl.
Suggestions for things we should see & do would be most welcome.

Sounds like a long week to me.
If you don't mind going inland one day, you'd absolutely love Lake Vyrnwy. (No vowels, but pronounced "veewee").
It is actually a reservoir, which supplies Liverpool with water, but you'll not find a more beautiful place.
Takes around an hour to drive round the perimeter road which hugs the Lake edge throughout.
Has a splendid stone-built dam at one end.
On the north side, there is an RSPB Centre, where a little man will take you on a walk along the valley side & up the hill, through the forest, & he'll show you all the bird species, (90 resident species) including lots of crossbills. There is no charge for the escorted "Guide", but RSPB donations are welcome.
Note "Nature Reserve & Conservation" on the Wiki page.....

9.9 on the Lovely Wovely Scale.
