Q. Is it possible to un-dizzy yourself by spinning the other way?

I've done a short test, but TBH I felt a bit giddy before I started.

I've always wondered how skaters become immune to dizziness.

Now this one I do know.

Rather than having your head turn with your body, you fix your gaze on a certain point in the distance and you watch it for as long as you can while you turn, before whipping it round to that same point. It's called spotting and is an essential tool in dance for those sorts of moves.

Google'd Tin foil on toe nails.....................still non the wiser. Enlighten please.

I assume they've done their nails already?

Even more woooooshed now.

Assumed it was protecting their nicely-done nails, but now I'm suspicious!

I can't imagine what it would protect them from.

I'll ask tomorrow.

The tin foil is to hold pieces of acetone soaked cotton wool against the nails for the fifteen minutes or so it takes to remove shellac nail polish.
Mystery solved :-)

Am now no wiser.
More importantly....Did you have a good night?

Apparently, there is video evidence of Mrs Red drinking flaming sambucas and dancing on tables....

That I'd love to see.

 One bit of kit I've neglected to mention is a back proector. It's very rare for me now to ride without one. I would advise you to do the same. Congrats once again

I'm keeping the Yammy 125 for the time being Rod. It was never really about getting a bigger bike.

I have a back protector Mr MO, my 'Yeah, but £12.50'  jacket is fully armoured.

Mrs Red & I were invited to lunch at Chatsworth yesterday, (in the posh dining room as befits our station, not the one with the till where the common schmucks go). I was a bit concerned that Mrs Red would be a bit over awed by the occasion, but I needn't have worried. As it turned out she was relaxed enough to eat peas from her knife and complain to the waiter because she only had one roast carrot while everyone else had two.

As we approachd the house, I noticed something interesting out front. It's in a part of the gardens that's not open to the public, but you can catch a brief glimpse of it as you cross the bridge over the stream.
