You must try and catch that Show on I-player Tom, it's incred.

Not sure you will agree with the various puppy training techniques, mind.

Is it one of those 'edited for comedy value' type programmes that is just going to wind me up?

Don't know about "edited for comedy", but I'm pretty sure it will wind you up, to see how they tried to train the puppies. Just from reading how you do it, even I could tell it was a disaster.

Well worth a watch, though, the pups were lovely. Ill behaved, but lovely.

Some lovely crosses here  - of course they don't mention that the same cross isn't guaranteed to get the same result.

Also struggling to imagine the gymnastics of some of the crosses between different sized breeds....

Hi Tom, happy new year and all that.
Talking of moaning for a quid for a cuppa, mate of mine who thinks nothing of having £50-£100 a spin on the wheel and a monkey on a horse moans like foook every time a casino try and charge him £1 for a drink lol.

Loads of gamblers are like that, amazing how some people can be such tight arses in one aspect of life and reckless with money in another.

I agree with your mate. If I spend 2 million on a yacht, does that make it OK for the broker to charge me a tenner for a diet Coke?

So when did all of these dogs stop being mongrels that they couldn't even give away at the local RSPCA?

Pretty sure it all started with the labradoodle that was invented by it's creator because someone needed a guide dog (labrador) that wouldn't affect someone who was allergic to pet hair (poodle).

I think the best (and first) of these 'designer dogs' that I ever saw was a puggle which was a pug crossed with a beagle. Unbelievably cute and unbelievably expensive!!!

Got to love marketing people turning something previously unwanted in to a must have designer accessory.
