Nice mattock Red, a few year back I got my Dad a digging hoe, as he found digging with a spade was hurting his knees, the Portugese gardeners when we were in bermuda used them & thought brits were mental using spades. It made a big difference to him & 2 or 3 people locally have started using them instead of spades.

7.5 inch wide, 9.5 inch deep &  the weight of the hoe does the digging.

So I made it to Vienna in one piece mostly due to satnav I have to say.  It's so easy not giving a shit where you are and just driving.

The autobahns are abs mental.  Yesterday I did an eight hour shift and was completely wiped out.  The amount of lorries is completely overwhelming and because they are going so slow I was always moving in and out and looking in the mirror for someone coming up behind at 150mph, so I couldn't slam on the cruise control and chill out.

My car is meant to do 130, but I bottled out at 120 as the straight bit of road was coming to an end.......  It is a great thing though, I think, to be able to drive at the speed that you are comfortable within the road conditions.

Did almost have an accident at nuremburg when the receptionist at the hotel was waving me in to park in a strange place right in front of the hotel and almost cut across a car on the other side of the road.  Utter exhaustion to blame I think.

What's happening with your poker Tom?

Does reading Tony's adventures make you want to do something similar? Or you waiting 20 years til you're the same age as him before you venture off to Vegas? Smiley

I still love poker Vin, but I seem to be too busy during the day and too tired at night to play.

I find myself watching a lot of sport on telly lately though, and I wish I understood how betting works so that I could have a little punt.

Actually, I do have a little punt now and then but I have no idea what I'm doing. I had a bet on most of the World snooker championship matches but finished about £60 Down.

I backed Iceland to beat England at 8/1. I have no idea if that's a good price or a terrible price but it seemed OK to me considering it was only a two horse race.

When they went a goal behind they went to 28/1 so I tried to back them again but before I could get on they equalised.

LOL.

It's what punters call "aftertiming" Tom. That's not saying you have had a bet until AFTER it won & then chirping.

It's an odd thing, which was new to me until Fred came along. Anyone who aftertimes gets that smiley. It's akin to farting in church, it's just not done apparently.  They get VERY sensitive about it, they really do.

The smiley is named after Chompy, I think.

Football is a three horse race. Not itching to get to Vegas? The reason I ask is I loved Vegas the last time I was there 5 years ago, but have had absolutely no desire to return since.
