Mrs Red said that looking at those big square hedges reminder her to cut my hair so she came out with her clippers and did it during my tea break.

Old drum brakes were pretty poor anyway, but filling up with water deffo wouldnt help. Disc brakes now are so much more efficient not really so much of a a problem.

Yes Ralph. Drum brakes were pretty poor anyway, with or without water. Good job most cars topped out at about 65mph.

Got the job finished on Monday. (couldn't manage Sunday, too many things hurting)

This is the view from the top of the lane. I think it looks OK if I do say so myself.

Decided to give the big willow at the top of the lane a bit of a trim too. What a messy bugger that was.

Took an aerial photo of the camp while I was up the ladder.

Alas old age has caught up with me so now it takes two days,

Little wonder it takes you twice as long - they are 4 or 5 times bigger now.

Can barely believe how much it's all grown.

That's true Tone, I didn't take growth into consideration.

I planted everything that's here for screening purposes. I knew I wouldn't have a dogs chance of getting planing permission otherwise. (As it is it only took the ten years)

I'm off to Westminster on the 17th to relate my planning permission journey to a group of ministers so that they can better identify "Barriers within the system".

I'll try to find an earlier pic.

Tell me about it.

I once quoted a bloke £350 to cut down and remove a biggish sycamore from his garden. He baulked at the price so I tried to explain that most of the work would be clearing up the waste.

He asked me how much if he cleared the waste himself, when I said £150 he was chuffed to bits and told me to go ahead.

I was finished within a couple of hours and I walked away leaving an absolute sea of tree waste behind.

He rang me several times to offer me the rest of the money to come back and clear everything up but I was happy with things the way they were.

^^^^

The case rests.

In terms of bulk & mass, they are not "4 or 5 times bigger", they must be 10 or 20 times bigger, maybe more. Extraordinary.
