Used to love a Wimpy on a Saturday lunchtime.
Same here and what was that pink burger sauce they used to put in a burger ? It was fab
We often reminisce about wimpy bars
I delivered some meds to hove last Tuesday late evening and opposite the kfc I was getting my tea from - a chicken burger meal was ? Yes a wimpy ,parking wasn’t easy but I’m almost wishing I’d gone in now
We went “ uptown “ shopping in the 80 s every Saturday and it always involved a visit to the west gate wimpy bar
The Saturday lad from said wimpy bar recently fitted Cctv for us he was in his late 40 s by now and he told us his dad owned it

I seem to remember enjoying a knickerbocker glory or two at Wimpy's.

There's still a Wimpy away up north in Dingwall.

Sadly lost my old dog Kerry a couple of weeks back to a brain haemorrhage. She'd a good run, lived to 14 1/2 and active till the day she died, swimming in the river the day before.
So I'm sitting with my new cockapoo Angie, looking forward to training her up.

Angie looks great Rod, can we have more info please?
How old, how long have you had her and how do you like her?
Are you having to train from scratch?
More pics too please, especially one that shows her eyes. (I appreciate that isn't always easy with a cockapoo)

She's 3 months old (born Valentine's Day), Cockapoo mum, Poodle dad. Picked her up from the farm she was bred on yesterday.
I'm absolutely smitten tbh. She's a real pleaser of a dog, stops whatever she shouldn't be doing at a word, shadows you around the house. While I loved Kerry she was a stubborn bitch who wasn't trained right as a pup so life was an ongoing battle at times.
We're training Angie from the start, so first time for me (was always Dad).
She's sleeping after a walk and a set of zoomies around the back garden right now so this is the best eyes (eye) pic so far:

Fabulous Rod, that was just the honest eye I wanted to see.
She's gorgeous and will soon learn to charm you to death if you don't keep your guard up.
Can I recommend this ancient but excellent book?
