It's generally a terrific programme, some considerably more heart strings tugging than tonight. Glad you caught it

I think that tonights was one of the worst ones i've seen.  Not because it was bad just because the others i've seen have been so good!

I think long way round was better but its still a great watch.  I am the same but thats with everything I do.  I watch a program about ballet and I want to get a pair of tights.

No. It was a fantastic documentary about 4 or 5 schoolteachers who went around the world on motorcycles and filmed it on a wind-up camera. They did it all themselves on a shoe string. No sponsors, no support team or anything. It was fantastic

I didnt think i'd like the long way round, i've never really been into bikes and such like, but a mate gave me the box set and i watched them all in about 3 days.  My dad loves motorbikes but fell off and broke his leg when i was a lad, he claims he has lost interest but i know he would get another bike if my mother let him!  When i make my millions i'd love to ride round oz with the old man, only problem is i'm about 1.05m away from being a millionaire and i have never ridden a bike!

I saw this interesting bit of Leicester history today, but the thing that really caught my eye was the graffiti and the litter.

Why do we insist on making such a mess of our country?

I was on my way to DTD for the £100 freeze out last Sunday when I received a phone call which went something like this.

"Hello Tom, have you eaten?"

"Haha, Yes, of course I have"

"No, I meant recently"

"So did I"

Oh, I see, no problem. It's just that I have a roast in the oven and I was going to invite you round to share it with me before the game"

"I accept"

So, at the cost of a small detour, I was able to enjoy a truly delicious home cooked meal and some very stimulating conversation in the company of someone who, for the sake of  decorum, I shall refer to only as "The Mystery Blonde"

When I arrived, Mystery Blonde had yet to finish dressing and, semi nude, waved a cheery greeting  from the top of the stairs.

Not many women would have the confidence to sit down to dinner in the presence of a male guest while still in her underwear and without a trace of makeup, but Mystery Blonde pulled it off with remarkable aplomb.

All in all, it was one of the most memorable dinners I have ever had.

Thank you, Mystery Blonde.

xx
