Tom,

Did you watch "Who do you think you are?" on BBC1, all about Jerry Springer and how his family was affected by the holocaust in Germany during WW2 and before.

Very different side to the man you normally see.......

Good luck in Vegas

Steve

Just watched this on BBC iplayer. I've read dozens of stories like this one, but I still find them moving and terrifying. I don't kid myself that it could never happen again.

500,000 Gypsies were murdered in the death camp at Auschwitz. One day, if I'm able, I will go there and pay my respects.

Do we owe our second chance to the benevolence of some omnipotent being, or did we just get lucky?

Why would the 'omnipotent' being decide to save this one person, when there are millions dying across the world in pain due to disease, famine, war, etc.?

Also, why didn't he make the shot miss, or stop the gun firing in the first place?

If god was and he could, he would, but he doesn't, so he isn't.

Or maybe he is, and he could, but he doesn't, so he's an arsehole.

If he is then he would have, but he hasn't, so he never was.

Planet Hollywood buffet is a must for you Red. So much choice and as much as you like. Jeees it's good.

Agree, I always rave n about it on here. It always has been well above the rest even when it was Alladin.

Plus check out "Earl of Sandwich" in PH, great sarnies

So touching to know that everyone is concerned about my gastronomic wellbeing.

So, do you think I will lose any weight while I'm in Vegas

Might I suggest that you pay a visit to Carnegies Deli. One sandwich could feed a third world country for a month
