Apart from brilliant, spellbinding, page turning posts that are mind bogglingly clever or gut-wrenchingly honest, what does his diary have that mine doesn't?

No. I'm far too lazy and selfish.

Anyway, can we go back to Google Chrome? That means we're talking about it on all of the Big 3 Diaries (no offence to the other diaries that are just as good, but are simply smaller).

Does it want to control everything like Firefox 3?

Does it want to control everything like Firefox 3? I think you're confusing Firefox 3 and the government. (What does Firefox 3 want to control?)

Most people need all the help they can get on that front Yes? Is that like the help I get from Vodafone when they decide that they will put an "Adult Content" bar on my USB Modem so that I can't access poker sites? I'll decide what I want to look at. Firefox can advise me that the site contains a virus or a trojan if they like, then if I want to continue, that's my decision, not theirs.

I think it's a bit different to vodafone in that you can easily switch it off and you can also say "you're wrong I'd like to carry on".
Additionally they are not making judgement on content, only trying to block phishing scams and malware.
