Then again, the bit halfway down the page about Martin McGuinness' hypocrisy is pretty spot on. Sigh.

And the demonisation of the opposition by Britain has another success, sigh. Can a country that firebombed a whole city afford to be sanctimoniuos?

I wouldn't know. I'm not a country. Although I could probably be expressed as a measurable percentage of, say, Vatican City.

And I wasn't really being a pedant. I'm not a country, and I wasn't speaking for a country. I was speaking for me. I'm fairly sure I've only got blood on my hands very indirectly (I pay taxes which fund the armed forces; British soldiers have killed innocent people in various places, therefore I'm responsible?). Which is a hell of a lot more indirect than McGuinness. Allegedly.
