There are few enigmatic characters in poker, but none as charismatic as this chap, Mr Sideshow Bob. The first time Gary walked anywhere near the cardroom, notepad in hand, Sideshow Bob started taunting him with taunts of "McLoooooooovin."

Laxie here.  I've stuffed the trainee in a closet so I could steal his lappie and he's Mclovin it.  A bit worried to be honest.  What does one do in a dark closet that brings so much joy?  I must live a truly sheltered life.

Tried to gather a few crazy hands, but all I seem to catch are limpfests galore.  Everyone seems frightened of 'letting their side down', so no fancy moves or big shakes just yet.  

Meanwhile, back at the camp.  That bottle next to Tighty's 'baby' is the remains of Laxie drink #2.  Best behavoiur tonite kids...honest.  No, really.  I swear.  Be back in a bit.

With more than 90 minutes gone in the tournament the action continues to be slow and tight with all 124 starters remaining. The biggest stirr in the room so far has been car salesaman turned garage-owner Dave Masters late arrival. A whopping 90mins after the kick-off, Masters arrives in late, but tight-lipped about a possible "brake down" en route

This chirpy lot is Paddy Burke's team. After their photo shoot I was quizzed to the whereabouts of where the snaps are heading. Of course I was deliighted to plug the Blonde Poker name at what was afterall, my first opportunity.

It took longer than expected (the Guinness not flowing as much as usual today), but our first notable all-in was from Dan Bolton, who pushed against Sideshow Bob on a board. Sideshow Bob folded, and Dan, cool as a cucumber with sunglasses on, raked in a nice pot.
