Saw "runner runner" at weekend.

Jeez what an abortion that film was!!

Terrible plot line and awful cheesy monologues that were trying to be like "rounders" but got nowhere close enough to pulling it off.

Plotline tried to incorporate the UB scandal and Fullt Tilt/Black Friday saga, but got the facts chronologically wrong and didn't address either scandal, so in the end it was just a good vs bad film with Poker being using as the background.

Literally couldnt wait for the 89 minutes to expire before I left the cinema.

Dreadful.

Blimey! I heard you went but I didn't realise you stayed for the whole thing.  And not even an Orange Wednesday.

Last film I regretted choosing to pay to watch at the cinema was Godzilla. That was a rotter.

Could be a thread of itself, I suppose.

Runner Runner pretty awful, despite Bennyboy and Timberlake giving it their best. Definitely one to avoid.

Went to see Filth last night and it was enjoyable if you like quite weird adult themed films. McAvoy is good in the all round baddie role but the most surreal part was David Soul appearing as a taxi driver singing Silver Lady in one of the weirder moments. It is Trainspotting style meets soft porn in parts meets very dark comedy.

You haven't seen a duff film in fifteen years?!
I've seen two in the last fortnight! (About time and Diana BTW, first one had me wishing I could travel back 2 hours and buy a ticket for White house down instead, and Diana, I had to restrain myself from cheering when the shot opened with the Eiffel tower)
You either don't go to the pictures much or are very easily pleased. Recent favourite?

I've seen two films with friends that I knew I'd hate but there was a group of us and I'd sooner be with them and tearing my eyes out than elsewhere. Admittedly, I didn't sound like that afterwards....but it is true.

I don't go to the flicks often, though.

That's how I ended up watching the tripe I mentioned above.
Good news though! They're giving the big lizard another outing!

Admit it, you're excited aren't you?

Captain Phiilips different gear, 10/10, yup. Tom Hanks off the charts.
