I think Greengrass is a brilliant director and Bourne one of great movie trilogies, but it felt like there was no need to make this

Didn't provide anything new, or advance the story much. Just four of five set pieces which were much of a muchness apart from being in different cities

Seems like there will be a sixth film too.

Suicide Squad.

Not as good as everyone thinks it's gonna be. I got the impression it had been drastically cut to get the 15 certificate. Seemed to be setting up for a sequel as well (and the director says if he can, he'll make it an 18).

Not really sure if this is the right topic but I'd recommend watching this.

Hacking Democracy "Filmed over three years it documents American citizens investigating anomalies and irregularities with 'e-voting' (electronic voting) systems that occurred during the 2000 and 2004 elections in the U.S.A., especially in Volusia County, Florida. The film investigates the flawed integrity of electronic voting machines, particularly those made by Diebold Election Systems, exposing previously unknown backdoors in the Diebold trade secret computer software."

I struggled to take my eyes off the screen apart from to google more info. Really scary stuff.

Certainly not a rap fan but recently watched Straight out of Compton. What a great piece of cinema it is.

Also just watched The Martian, also very good.

Just watched Independence Day Resurgence. Without doubt one of the worst films I've ever seen.

Fans of The Office will enjoy the reprise of this character by Ricky Gervais on the big screen. I guess that's the only reason he agreed to do it, as the story doesn't really warrant a cinematic experience. We're expected to sympathise with the character in this one, and the happy ending has Hollywood's interfering DNA all over it.

On the positive side, there are plenty of toe-curling sequences, and a handful of scenes the elicit actual laughs. But liking Gervais's characterisation of Brent is an absolute must, and even then I think I'd recommend that you wait for it to appear on a smaller, cheaper screen.

I felt it needed an extra 10 minutes of building up the new characters VERY MILD SPOILERS BELOW

Everyone treat Brent like absolute shit and literally in the last five minutes everyone did a 180 and said "we all love Brent he is the best guy ever".

He kinda turned Brent into Derek actually. Deffo wait for it on TV.

Just watched Inside Out, not usually my bag but thought I'd give it a go since a fair few critics named it in their top 3 films of 2015

Quite a few laugh out loud moments a couple of real tearjerkers, well worth a watch

Deepwater Horizons

Don't waste your hard-earned. Hadn't intended to see it, but the projector was "broken" for Hell and High Water. For all intents & purposes, it's a "dramatic reconstruction of the events leading up to the blow-out" on BP's oil-rig. And it was all because the greedy BP suits were hell-bent on cutting costs and didn't give a shit about the hard-working, blue-collared Americans manning the rig. Incred that they got a cast including Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell and a gurning John Malkovitch.

Agree, watched it last night, had the potential to be brilliant but ended up as one of those flims that was alright but not much more.
