The following players are now pushing up daisies in the Busto Graveyard:

Anthony Roux
William Thorson
Tom 'Durrr' Dwan
Sam Trickett

Sam's exit was particularly galling, he reraised preflop with K-K and saw an Q-J-J, getting it in only to discover his opponent had call him with A-J

Michael Martin is up to around 25k after, in his own words, "winning lots of small and medium pots" including a couple from Gavin Griffin.

It's not exactly filled with light in the Vic but some people still feel the need to wear shades.

Here we have Nicholas Levi, circa 8,000 chips, realising the light is just too much and throwing on the shades.

As I took the consecutive pictures, Nicholas (who thank god has his hat back on*) told me "that will make a nice little story!"

So here is the story of Levi and his shades...

* His hat was stolen while in Spain. Police are still searching for the culprit although some video footage of a man wanted by the police in connection with the crime has been released. Sadly he is in disguise but looks strangely familiar...

When he flew in last night, he had no idea if there would be room or not as he was #105 on the waiting list.  He was happy to get in as an alternate.

Now i am full on steaming!!

Brilliant reporting as ever.   Your efforts and pics are appreciated!!

GL to the blondes

anything yet on Mark Deacon or has he gone ?

His table was one of the first to be broken, so without a photo it's going to be insanely difficult to find him.

Best I can get you at the moment is that he is on the same table as Tony Cascarino

Some people have cast doubt on the veracity of Pascal's part time wrestling hobby.

Yet as luck would have it, as I perambulated through the card room, they showed a clip of Pascal picking up his first title.

And we know TV doesn't lie!

News of the Norwegian prodigy Annette Obrestad.

She is in fine shape, doubled up to 20,000 or so at this point...

Pete Linton is on the felt fumes of the shrapnel of the coppers after getting all-in with aces on a against Alan Vinson's which held on the turn and river.

Meanwhile Joe 'BigEgypt' Elpayaa successfully check/raised a flop before attempting to commit his opponent with a 4,900 on the-not-scary-at-all turn to elicit a fold from his opponent.

Early indications indicate that there's a indicative indication that Arnaud Mattern is the chip leader with 46k.

Barny Boatman is out, c/r a 9-8-8 flop from 1,200 to 3,200. Check-calling 4,000 on the turn before shoving the on Queen river for 11,000 with 8-5 and being called by Q-Q.
