Did you use some old baked beans mixed with new ones?

no fresh tin but they looked a bit manky when i opened them. gave em a good mix and they tasted fine.

Clearly microwaved..

obv how else do u cook beans?

I pan cook them also to thicken the sauce and put pepper on

You don't, they're already cooked. If you heat them the sauce goes all thick and claggy and horrible and the beans go all warm and mushy and horrible. For maximum enjoyment you should pour beans straight from the can onto the plate or toast.
