Sausages are high maintenance. They need constant turning (90 seconds on one side, 90 seconds the next, then a quarter turn etc) in the pan to ensure an even consistency of cooking and, aesthetically most important, colour

Oi!

You are BANNED from Fry Up Threads.

Posting from phone so not a full write up.
Looks good for a first attempt. Eggs look good, sausages look meh, bacon is bostin, beans ok, no toms is wrong, toast, b&b and fried slice look ok. Hash browns just wrong.

Great effort 6.5/10

Coffee is a perfectly acceptable beverage option with breakfast if say you're having croissants.

I think the eggs and bacon both look superb. Personally I think the bean portion size is rather miserly and the lack of a tomato doesn't sit quite right with me. The stripey sausage has already been mentioned but they also look massive and rather cumberlandish. I think the size distribution of each element needs work. That said the finished article looks rather appertising and a solid effort for me. I would score this a 6.5.

I got some friends round for fry-up tomorrow so will take photos.

Thanks Mantis. Some very constructive criticism there.

There were 3 sausages at first but they completely took over the plate so 1 had to go. Ronnie enjoyed it thoroughly and didn't complain that it was undercooked. 3 smaller sausages next time for sure.

I would've preferred more beans but we've had the bean quantity discussion before and it seemed that less beans was the way forward. I might alter for next time as I was running out of bean juice at the end to mix things with.

Might whack a tomato on there and see how it fairs. Could be a risk though I have to say.

-1 for having to eat it with your fingers

-1 for having to eat it at your kitchen worktop facing some psychedelic tiles

-2 for only having 3 ingredients

-1 for application of brown sauce before the voters get to see the breakfast

Overall 5/10

Decent effort mate but what do you dip your bread in if you haven't got a fried egg?

Cheers Matt.

When you put this in as your URL http://imageshack.us/f/37/imagejzp.jpg it takes you to a page with the image on it.

Over on the right hand side between the big red adverts there's a button that says "links to share this image"

You want the 'direct' one.
