I'd rather go for dinner at amatay's house than eat that crap

Thats a bold statement ... I think its too close to call tbh Wink

yeah, it is close but at least at amatay's I'd be able to identify every item on the plate

Red, your feedback has really spurred me on, Sunday is going to be my best yet!  The fried bread wasnt my best effort and I know undercooking is an error I have made in the past.  I have included a photo which i didnt want to post as the quality of shot wasnt great as it includes the rest of my messy table and a poker mag I stole from the local casino but it does show you a mighty mug of tea.

sorry soviet but imo the only thing thats half decent on that plate is the eggs, - points for lack of square sausage, tattie scones, beans, grilled tomato, the poor quality of bread, lack of brownage to the links, poor quality of the bacon, lack of fruit pudding

soz but 3 outa 10

think ill do one of these myself this weekend

1 x black pudding (stornoway)
1 x Square Sausage

This is my effort from two Sundays ago - couldn't get the pics up before jetting off to Cyprus - I'm hoping for redemption.

I think you lose points for a distinct paucity of bacon and having what appears to be a decorative mushroom on the tomato, which has also been made the centre piece of the fry up for some unknown reason.

the mushrooms look nice, but apart from that it all looks a little bit overcooked and dry - especially the toast, which looks like it would spray crumbs everywhere if you snapped it in half.  I'd also lose a couple of sausages and replace with more bacon and no need for the tomato at all.  In summary, I still think mine is the best Smiley
