How about Super Wednesday?

Not much gets past Steve McLaren.

"We are in crisis".

Feel Sorry for the Real Supporters of Newcastle but the bright sparks that forced Pardew out with their website campaign need to take a serious reality check !

Nobody forced Pardew out.

For that to make sense you'd have to believe he gave a fuck what anyone thinks of him. Which he doesn't.

He went to Palace because they are 'his club'.

I cant agree

I think anybody put under that amount of pressure by their own fans will obv give a f*** and when his old club came calling  it was an easy choice

Sad state of affairs for sure.

Maybe it was the 7fig pay rise ? I dunno maybe not!

The campaign itself I imagine really did have 0 impact on it, him picking to go manage a club that he's loved at as opposed to one were nobody ever showed him any love it makes sense to me why he'd want to go.

I'm still very glad he's gone, don't think there's much difference in the ability of him and our current manager but I'd prefer to have McLaren and as many people including myself have repeatedly stated we never expected a change of manager to have much of an impact on our prospects in the league or any other competition we enter.

The campaign will of course have made a difference. At the very least it'll have made him massively uncomfortable in the job. And don't forget his comments when earlier linked with the palace job how he said they were now beneath him and he should be aiming higher.

Don't regret wanting him out of him going a single bit.

We are just a fenwicks window for footballers, we have some nice players but our def is swiss cheese. Happy to see norwich are as bad as hoped and that we can score a few when we get a chance. Goals given away were so disappointing.

Now for the obligatory give sunderland 3 points after they get a new manager.
