Players have been called over to the final two tables, so it would appear as though we're going to be blessed with a prompt start. I don't know about you, but I haven't been this excited since Dana first said, "Get ya coat, luv, ya'v pulled."

Just to prove that we are indeed here at the G Casino, Blackpool rather than screaming like banshees on the Big Dipper, here are your remaining 13 players, fresh off a cheeky redraw...

Don't make me come back to Wales to show you the back of my hand, Iwan. Once in a lifetime is enough for any man.

On the very first hand, Brian Clarke defended his big bind to Zachary Ford's early position preflop raise, but check-folded on a raggy flop. Ford generously showed kings. "Keep em coming," he asked the dealer. "I'm feeling positive today."

Let's hope he booked a hotel rather than came from home, as the first player to hit the deck today is German amateur Herbert Kasbauer. An online qualifier more accustomed to $5 and $10 STTs, Kasbauer found himself all in with versus the of Brian Clarke. A board aided nobody, meaning Clarke had well and truly rocked the Kasbauer.

I think you can tell from the photo which members of the rail have a percentage in Kasbauer and which have taken a punt on Clarke.

Zachary Ford raises to 32k from the small blind and Guy Johnson flat-calls from the big but folds to a 40k bet on the flop after Ford says he only has 112k behind when Johnson asks for a count. Johnson rueing not pushing pre?

No luck for the Welsh today. Gareth Jones raises to 33.5k and Martyn Cavanagh sets him all-in, after a good couple of minutes, Jones calls and it's on their backs.

Jones:
Cavanagh:

two spades

Martyn Cavanagh is down to about 40k.

On the other table Damian Evans raises the button and Alan Vinson sets him in from the big blind. After a minute, Evans says, "Yeah, I'll call that."

Evans:
Vinson:

two hearts

A tap of the table from Vinson who is knocked back to about 400k. Evans is up to about the same.

I have Hoivold against Peter from BlueSq who has taken Vinson. One time!!!

Even with dad Alan watching closely from the sidelines, Martyn Cavanagh couldn't turn his shrapnel into a pot of gold. With just circa 35,000 remaining after his previous loss, Cavanagh allowed the big blind to hit and called all-in, although reluctantly, when Darren Hickman pushed from the small blind. As Hickman revealed a bullet, Cavanagh said dejectedly, "Yeah, that was what I was worried about."

Cavanagh = three clubs

Hickman =

Board =
