Eddie Lundon's double ups here endeth.

Andreas Hoivold raises to 45k, Lundon moves in for 107k total and the Norwegian sighs and calls. He's actually ahead.

Lundon:
Hoivold: three diamonds

Two Diamonds ...("Keep them low please" instructs Andreas)
Does Mr Vinson ever crack a smile

Eddie Lundon is out in 6th place winning £16,200

With that last exit, the game has turned very cagey with players perhaps fully aware of the sudden jumps in money for the remaining exits. As such, it's been mainly blind stealing (or, obviously, taking - with the goods), with Andreas Hoivold (x2), Alan Vinson, Darren Hickman and Brian Clarke picking up the blinds uncontested over the last several hands.

It's slowed right down here and the only thing more popular than the open raise followed by everyone folding, is the amount of people yawning at the current monotony.

The blinds are being passed around at the moment and nothing is really happening about from one Brian Martin reraise to 145k against Zachary Ford's initial 45k raise. But no flops or anything else going on right now...

Last three hands:

(1) Zachary Ford raised to 47,000 from UTG. The blinds folded.
(2) Alan Vinson took the blinds with a button raise of 56,000 total.
(3) Alan Vinson takes the blinds again with a raise from the cut-off to 70,000.

Darren Hickman raises to 60k in the small blind. Andreas Hoivold asks how much he is playing, it looks to be about 300k or so behind.

Andreas moves all-in and Darren snap-calls.

Andreas:
Darren:

...(The scandies in the crowd go wild)...

Darren Hickman is out in 5th place winning £21,300

It's been rather frustrating times for Andreas Hoivold since taking the scalp of Darren Hickman, the Norwegian seeing two preflop raises of 52,000 being reraised behind, once by Zachary Ford and the other Alan Vinson. Both times Hoivold folded with a grimace, but on the next hand, he did triumph in a battle of the blinds to retrieve some of those chips, checking down an board with Vinson before value-betting 20,000 with on the river. Vinson called with an eight.

Alan Vinson raises to 70k on the button. Andreas Hoivold calls from the small blind. Zachary Ford, who I was about to say hasn't done much in the last couple of hours, suddenly moves all-in and gets both opponents to fold.

Andreas, "I think I had the best hand, I should've reraised preflop."

In other news, Sam Trickett has won the £300 event. Red Dog picked up 5th.

With very little in the way of action to report, I took the opportunity to take a few snaps of our remaining four finalists.

Alan Vinson raises to 70k twice in a row and gets the blinds.

Andreas Hoivold than raises to 55k and purloins the blinds.

Brian Martin moves all-in. Gets blinds.

In a blind vs blind battle, Hoivold takes a pot on the turn of a three diamonds board against Zachary Ford.

Next hand Alan Vinson raises to 70k UTG, Andreas Hoivold reraises to 190k, back around to Vinson who quickly moves in and Hoivold is visibly annoyed by this. The Norwegian has about 500k back and really gets deep in thought.

It looks like some sort of 77/AJ type hand and Andreas lets out a little frustrated moan before passing. Vinson really has had the better of the former EPT Dortmund champion on the final table today.
