Bullets Cracked: Gunfight At The Not OK Corral

Curtis Ledger is OUT.

Down to maybe 4k after dropping a few chips to Jeff Kimber the previous hand, the Sheriff was all in with his looking good against Ketul Nathwani's , but oh, the cruel river.

Board: three clubs

Ouch. Wp, sir.

A blind on blind raising war between Richard Dawson and Lorraine Healey was eventually won by the super-aggro Healey with an all-in bet that Dawson wasn't prepared to match. "I'll let you have a peek if you show your hand," said Dawson, and a nod later he flashed K-Q. Healey showed him a lacklustre 9-T offsuit for his troubles. Despite the aggression, Healey is still barely over her starting stack, though, on just 5.5k.

Thewy.

Wow, that was quick!

Congrats to Sharplea.

Indeed the drumstick, higgledy-piggledy chip arrangement and humungous earphone combo could belong to only one man and that man is Julian Thew!

Well done mate Wink

As a bonus to the prize, here are some cats.

PM me your username on FT if that is ok for you and I will transfer, or we'll arrange something similar.

Back to the tournament!

A New Big Stack

Ketul Nathwani's stack was looking pretty healthy, but not any more, as the chips have mainly gone the way of David Rudling.

With over 6k in the pot by the turn, Rudling checked the board, and Ketul bet 2.2k. Rudling raised to 5.5k, and Ketul called.

Come the river, Rudling bet out 7k, and with a resigned sigh, Ketul threw in the call a moment later. Ketul turned over for two pair -- but Rudling showed him for a full house, taking down the chunky pot.

Rudling: 40k
Nathwani: 8k

A rather short-stacked Paul Parker raised to 800 in early position and received a flat call from Jeff Kimber on the button. Small blind Brian Clarke announced all in; Parker, with fewer chips to his name than Clarke, called all in, and Kimber did the sensible thing and got out of their way.

Clarke:
Parker:

Board:

Parker: up to just over 15k
Clarke: down to 2,775

By the way, seeing as the uneven starting stacks makes it rather impractical for us to programme a starting stack into the workings of the blonde tournament clock, the average stack is now 13,900.
