Bernie Holmes pops it up to 32k from the cutoff. Cristiano Blanco announces all-in from the small blind. Holmes decides this case is too tricky to solve and folds.

sounds like a nice play.

I really want Bernie Holmes to win a quads against quads hand after the other guy hits quads first, purely so I can use the headline, "Holmes cracks the case." Smiley

Or possibly a long dwell-up, so you can wonder Watson his mind.

Or for him to get it all-in with 44 against an over pair, leaving him hoping for any Sign of the Four.

Anybody got the chip counts

Not too much has changed since that last time we published chip counts. The dinner break is in five minutes anyhow, so we can get officials one then.

Either side of the mersey makes him a scouser in my book....lol......especially with that accent.  And he's an expert in nicking the blinds so he must be a scouser.

Big last hand before the break.

Luke Marsh raises to 27k, Trevor Reardon and Billy Defty come along for the ride.

Marsh and Reardon check. Defty bets a very small 15k into the 90k+ pot. Marsh calls and Reardon passes.

Marsh checks again and Defty bets 25k. Marsh calls again.

Now Marsh leads out for 85k and it's very hard to seem him trying to bluff a five here given how the hand has gone, so or 5-5 seem the only possibilities. Defty calls and Marsh flips . Defty shows 6-6 for the flopped set that ended up second best.
