Blanco's knocking out of Trevor Reardon has put him back over 500k along with all the other remaining players. Bernie Holmes is still the chip leader with about 850k

And here's an interview with the chip leader, Bernie Holmes, done half an hour ago during the break by 'Snoopy' Parkinson.

Ints Grinbaums experienced a minor setback, first limping for 10,000 before folding to a raise to 40,000 from Nick Hicks on the button, and then minimum raising to 20,000 on the very next hand, but folding to a reraise to 90,000 from big blind Luke Marsh. Nick Hicks had called the 20,000 from the button, but he also released his hand when Marsh applied the pressure.
On the next hand, Grinbaums took a back seat, which paved the way for Hicks to take a stab at the blinds with a raise to 26,000. Cristiano Blanco was resistant in the big blind, however, and made the call, leading to a flop of
. Both players checked, but Hicks fired out 45,000 on the
turn, which was flat-called by Blanco. On the
river, Blanco became the aggressor, leading for 100,000, which was enough to force Hicks to fold.

Ints Grimbaums raises to 40k, Luke Marsh calls on the button.
Grimsbaum bets an unusually small 30k, Marsh raises to 100k. The Latvian instantly calls.
Check to Marsh who now bets 100k again. Grimsbaum moves all-in. Marsh calls. These last two happened in a within a second.
Marsh:
for Quaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddsssssss
Grimbaums:
for drawing dead.
Grimbaums has Marsh covered by about 12k so Marsh wins a 1 million dollar pot!
Grimbaums is on death's door...

On the very next hand, nobody was surprised to see Ints Grinbaums' remaining shrapnel go into the middle, but it was tad unfortunate to run into the
of Luke Marsh. With a paltry
, Grinbaums was in need of a miracle, but Christmas came early for the Latvian as the board came
to see him jump up to the dizzy heights of 44,000. Even a wounded Grinbaums couldn't resist a slight chuckle.

Ints Grinbaums
is OUT and becomes the
6th
place finisher winning
£10,000
For the third consecutive hand in a row, Ints Grinbaums clashed with Luke Marsh with the former's tournament life once again on the line. This time he was in slightly better shape with
versus
, but the Poker Gods kept well away on this occasion as Marsh took the decider with a rather less eventful
board.
As Grinbaums departed he shook the hands of his former opponents and wished them good luck, but couldn't resist asking Marsh about what he held in a hand from earlier on in the day.

DTD breaks it's own record for tournaments being held at the same time.
The £1,000, the £200, the £150 Stud, the £100 and a £25 comp are now all going on at the same time.
Meanwhile it looks like Cristiano Blanco has been drinking some of his compatriot Dario Minieri's reraising juice! First he takes Nick Hicks off a preflop raise of 28k by bumping it up to 85k. Next he steals Billy Defty's big blind from the small blind.
After this, Luke Marsh takes NicK Hicks' big blind with a raise to 25k from the cut-off.

More chips for Cristiano Blanco. Luke Marsh, who has become more aggressive since we went five-handed, makes it 25k on the button, Blanco makes it 85k from the small blind and gets the chip leader to fold.
Nick Hicks and Billy Defty are noticeably shorter than the other three but still have comfortable stacks. With us going short-handed now, it's really starting to open up a bit...
