While the deal goes on. Jim Peppercorn raises to 80k on the button. Sharbel Koumi moves all-in. Deal discussion continues.

Peppercorn folds face up.

William Martin raises to 65k. Sharbel Koumi moves in for a million. Everyone folds.

And people say deals kill the skill of the game. Pah! Roll Eyes

Sharbel Koumi raises to 174k on the button (yes, the blinds are 12k/24k, yes that is not a typo, I feel like I should write it out in letters like the old vidiprinter on Grandstand when one team beat another by a really large number of goals). Matt Cartwright moves all-in. Koumi calls.

Koumi:

Cartwright:

Two Clubs three diamonds

And now Koumi is the big chip leader with about 1.7 million chips and Cartwright is nearly as short as Amranand.

Richard Kellett was begging Martin not to deal, to the point where Simon Trumper had to kindly ask him to be quiet...

Funnily enough, I was updating solo the last time he had a big score which was the Grosvenor Grand Prix in 2006. I think he came second to Zippy Aslam there.

Matt Cartwright who has been blinded down to just 175k shoves from the button and Martin makes the call in the big blind.

Cartwright:

Martin:

two hearts

A double-up for Cartwright, he's still short though.

This might not be poker anymore, but it's more entertaining than listening to them all bicker for twenty minutes about money. If I wanted to listen to that, I would've gone home to visit my family for a couple of hours... Wink

Sharbel Koumi makes it 256k on the button...

Cartwright and Amranand fold speedily.

Next hand and Amranand pushes from the small blind for about 250k. William Martin, who has about 600k back, decides not this time and folds.

William Martin raises the button. Matt Cartwright moves all-in from the big blind. A quick call.

Martin:

Cartwright:

two hearts

And now Matt Cartwright doubles up again to about 700k. William Martin drops to about 300k.
