Going to change the staking system. 1 point will equal 100 points so I can include commision without resorting to a whole raft of decimal places.

Almost certainly will be at least one NFL bet tomorrow and then as I'm off to Deauville, no bets for a week!

Saved me paying a trip to Darlington's highest building.

Unlucky today Keith, definitely identified some decent value, by the talk in the pub there's been some bizarre refereeing in the premiership today (blackburn penalty notably). Just for reference for the rest of the year, Birmingham are a poor/overrated side or at least they've been poor on the three occassions I've seen them.
Hopefully Scottish Dave went with his instinct and had a last minute plunge on Blackburn.

i stuck them on a small treble with Wolves and Dag n Reds......Dag drew 1-1! lol

Did anyone take me up on my two value bets i picked out today?

Hearts and Wolves?.... Hearts won 2-0, and Wolves currently 1-0 up?

Well, the bet was going to be over the points in the Baltimore/Pittsburgh game.

However the line has moved from 33 to 35 and it's not exactly swimming aginst the tide playing the over with a 2 point movement!

Over 35 is still a good bet imo, but I won't advise it as a value bet.

I'm a simple person, this point thingy.... would I be far wrong if I take it as a point being 1% of a bankroll?

I had a lovely swim against the tide today after backing Aberdeen earlier in the week at 5/1. Celtic were quite rightly favourites but the Dons were too big not to bet them.

They may be value again next weekend too but no way I'll be backing them on Saturday.

sigh, flushy told me under 33.5 was a knock in bet, took all the 2.06 early on betfair, drifted to 2.35 prematch and i got shafted in the last 2 mins

It went off at 2.14 btw Rick, still certain it was a good bet, just a bit unlucky the defences didn't perform as well as usual against the deep ball.

Not so sure it was a good bet Mr Flush.

Limas Sweed dropped a certain td pass, Pitt buggered up fg try at the end of the first half and Joe Flacco had a terrible day.

I think it was a solid over bet even though I got a bit lucky at the end Smiley

BTW... how did Mr and Mrs Sweed come up with Limas as a good name for their offspring?
