Congratulations to Brent for a highly credible 4k and kudos to Floppy for a second consecutive solo effort.

Just arrived. Not sure how many people are playing today yet, will check.

Last night I got to watch the bingo-y £100r PLO as Nick Gibson and Duba most have put in about £700 or £800 each...meanwhile Marc Goodwin got the no rebuy table, finished the end of the rebuy period with a 14k stack, chip leader of his table (starting stack 3k), which was of course below average when they went to the freezeout stage..I have no idea who ended up winning though.

Flops. Grosvenor Brighton doesn't have the best of reputations as far as casinos. Any change this year, or still far from delightful?

There's about 160 players or so in total at the moment.

"There's a lot more young players than last year," said John Eames. "It's probably going to be a lot tougher too."

Not many players around atm but spotted so far:

Albert Sapiano
Tony Cascarino
Dave Clarke
Stuart Nash

rofl @ this. obv turn bk up at casino @ like 5am and get the most degen game ever going.

1/2 table behind us grinding away, everytime they look back theres 6 of us getting it in for 2-300 each.

fkin quality.  trigg the nit of the year in the final hand. every1 ships it in dark, he refuses and wants to look first and finds A7red which holds for £1.1K.  [  ] justice was served.

[  ] Glad I backed a bunch of hungover degens

pmsl we'r basically all playing 1b i think. [  ] we wont be hungover degens 2moro also.

No, I meant in terms of surroundings. A lot of people say it's not the nicest of places, and I was wondering if things had improved over the last year, a la Luton.

Hmmm, it's going to be hard for me to grab a sight over the next few days. I don't mind Brighton, I certainly prefer it to Luton, but neither are really my cup of tea.

Incidentally, still no nearer to starting, blessed with a lot of DTD tournaments recently, I've forgotten how slow sometimes these take to start.
