RESTART IN 2 MINS.

In the next level, requests will be answered, chips will be counted and compared, stories will be told and a large number of people will be eliminated.  We've power napped and are going to fortify ourselves against the formidable airconditioning with tea.

Red-Dog, on the other hand, just couldn't shake the shivers.  Until...

Check out the reaction in the background.  This was quickly followed by, "It's a girl's coat.  I am disturbed by the fact that I am slightly aroused by you.  I think I'm looking for a girl with a moustache."  To which Red replies, "I am comfortable with my sexuality."

He's currently retaking his seat still in my coat.

hi can you please let me know how nicolas mclellan is doing? thanks

Two precarious looking chip towers equal about 28,000.  I have to mention how handy it is that your friend Mclellan is wearing such an, er, idiosyncratic hat.  It means we'll be able to track him pretty much at a glance through the room.  Thank him for making our lives easy through his penchant for tartan-y baseball caps.

Just got in from a day at the rugby. Can you tell me how Jack Stokes is doing if you get chance please?

Is this your man?  If so he's on a perfectly respectable 14,500.

Bit of a turn up for the books.

After the last half hour break, Jonathan Pudney who is seat 1 on table 68, came back only to find his stack completely missing. Yes, that's right he had no chips! Fortunately there was a chip count at the break so they've been able to replace his 6k or 7k and they're now reviewing security camera footage as to how Pudney's chips went missing. Tim Blake pointed to his 4k and said, "Obvious culprit here!"

More news as we get it.

Jonathan Pudney is now out, as is Paul Cochrane. Both falling with Sevens and Queens to Chris Gavriel's Aces.

Gavriel has carried on his destruction of the table, knocking out James Keys with K-Q vs K-T on a K high board.

   ACTION!

While Chris' Corner Courts Controversy - Everyone else is gambling it up with abandon as those who've struggled to top their initial 10k stack are really starting to feel pressure with the blinds at 200/400/50.  Here's a taster:

Benjamin Boulden moves all in on the river for 5,900 after Julian Thew bet out 2k.  The board read two spades Two Diamonds and the pot up until now was not spectacularly large.  Thew thought for a while, called, but mucked when Boulden showed ...

Christopher Brammer eliminates Mojid Khan after the latter moved the rest of his stack - 5,300 - in on a flop.  Brammer asked for a count before quickly deciding to make the call with .  It more than held against , spiking a third Nine on the turn, so another one joins equally busted Bashir Ahmed in pretty much the same 90 seconds...

Here's the probable chip leader Gavriel after causing carnage on his table in the last level.  As Keys exited a railer could be heard behind me saying, "He's tearing up the field!" which might be somewhat premature but definitely seems to hold true for his table at least.

Gavriel:  "Who, Me?"

James Glossop finds his crucially pipped by Michael Specht's on a flop just now, crucial because he was all-in and called by Specht pretty sharpish.  The turn and river blanked and he hit the rail.

A delighted Specht rakes in the pot.  We're totally feeling the straw cowboy hat/gold skull decor thing too.

A message from Simon Trumper regarding tonights play.

Selzer Refreshing...

Mike Selzer's stack was looking in need of replenishment, and it all worked out in time for him to get back in the game.  A raise in early middle position brought a re-raise all in from John Perrin out of the small blind.  Perrin wasn't liking it when Selzer snapcalled with , in good shape against his ...  The flop brought every high combination apart from what was needed to help that out, and even a flush draw picked up on the turn didn't do the trick.  Double up to 25k for Selzer, down to >6k for Perrin.

Another player doubling up late in the day is the pseudonym-sounding Ivor Frost - his were in perfect shape after the board came three diamonds and his opponent showed three clubs.  Still, he didn't have all that many chips to start with - hands like that could be spectacular if two big stacks picked them up around now.
