Richard Kellett is in hysterics. No, he hasn't eaten too much orange sherbet. I'll let him explain:

"There's this guy, the player in seat 1 (Yousaf Jamal Quereshi) and you ask him anything about his hand and he just shows! There was a 9-2-5 flop and he bet 2k and showed a nine and then both players folded. Ask him if he has an Ace in a hand and he'll just tell the truth straight away, you can ask him anything about his hand and he'll tell you!"

The board reads 8-8-7-K-K and Steve Jelinek puts out a small bet but everyone folds. He sighs, "Couldn't one of you bitches have a king???" He flips 8-8.

Tony Salmon has been smoked. He limped behind a couple of others but then pushed with after Rick Trigg raised behind him. Trigg made the obligatory call with and we went off to the races which Trigg won at a canter after he caught the best of a three clubs board.

Pictured on the left is the eyecatching barnet of Christopher Brammer.  Come to think of it, Michael Selzer's isn't bad... on the right.  Anyway, forget about Selzer for a minute, because the last interesting hand I saw develop ended up with Brammer looking unhappy about a bet from Ghalib Hussein on the river.  The board was , and Hussein had bet out 4k at the end, causing some dwelling from Brammer.

"Did you turn a full house?" was the only thing Brammer said during his cogitation period, but when he made the call finally, it was only to see that he'd been spot on.  for Hussein, and everyone else seems to believe that he had A-Q, although he just mucked.

Now, there's already been one (slightly dodgy pic) but could you give us an update on Rook's stack? Mucho appreciated - and can you tell him if I'm unconscious upon his return bally is to blame.

cheers chaps

A xx

P.S Does Michael Selzer have a brother named Andy?
