El Blondie gets all-in again (as expected), pushing in late position for the full 12k.  Luke Patten called from the small blind, and original raiser D. Sami goes into the tank before passing what he said was a big pair ("Right" says Tikay, who's turned up in 425 gear).  Dave shows  As , and says, "nice hand" as Luke shows  .  So, with a raggy non-suit-threatening flop, no double but a bit of a raise absorbed.

On DC's table the following hand unfolded.

Harpit Gurnan flatcalls in earlyish position. Luke Patten raises to 6k from the button. Harpit calls.

The flop comes

Harpit bets 6k. Patten reraises 20k.

Harpit thinks and thinks and thinks...

and thinks before passing.

He shows the  .

Patten mucks without showing and Harpit is left to wonder if he folded the best hand.

Returning chip leader Alan Mclean (whom Greg describes as a pain in the neck, as he's been re-raising raisers with a vengeance) has just lost a near 150k pot to Anthony Nicholls (one of his re-raise targets) as he got it all-in preflop with pocket Nines against Anthony's AQ.
The board:    Two Diamonds

And we have a new chip leader in Anthony Nicholls...

Dave Clark just pushed all-in after Alan Davies had raised to 4.6k.

Alan Davies passed.

No hands shown.

Out of the corner of my eye, I've just noticed DC pushing all-in.

Our roving reporter Jen is on the case.

How is everyone today?

I got a seat in the laddies big money, finally won a race, first time in 3 years

Good news for all you Womble fans! The fella has just doubled up!!

After some preflop action with Alan Davies, the flop comes:

Womble moves all-in from the small blind for 8.3k. Alan Davies quickly calls.

Johnathan Creek Alan Davies shows  As , Womble casually flips over Ah.

Turn =

River =

Womble survives and is back in business.

Anthony Nicholls is chip leader with 170k.

Most of his chips were prised  Roll Eyes away from Alan McLean.

And ANOTHER big pot for Dave - this time holding  on a board which had not only a third  on it, but held a  which kept his opponent calling with  all the way.  Jonathan Raab says "He's doubled, no, trebled, no, MORE than trebled since it started!"  His enthusiasm is infectious; I'm totally rooting for a big blonde comeback.

OK I am lumping it on El Blondie. He is obviously lulling them into a false sense of security

You got a crystal ball robert   Roll Eyes

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Hey Red Dog - good going!  And best of luck in that big event... You've seen how to win a race now so plenty more to come Smiley

And this is what your virtual chips shall look like (or Anthony Nicholls' do right now)

Womble just added several more thousand to his stack.

His preflop raise found one caller in Andy Gomm.

The board of:

was meekly checked down.

Gomm shows  .

Womble turns over  and takes the pot with two pair.

That Womble's progressing nicely.
