And here's the blonde one playing a terribly relaxed short stack, next to Harprit Gurnam.

That Womble's at it again. He's keeping this beagle busy today.

Seeing action for the first time today, Barney Boatman bets 2.6k into a  board.

Womble flat calls the bet.

River =

Both check.

Womble rakes in a few extra chips with  .

Barney mucks.

Greg Hill OUT -

Another victim of Anthony Nicholls, Greg saw him limp into a pot ("not an unusual occurrence") and found  Ah in the small blind.  He made it up, the bb checked, and the flop came A 2 Q.
This looked pretty good to Greg, who bet out 4k into a 5k pot, but he got raised by limper Anthony, whom he reasoned was unlikely to have a bigger Ace.  Therefore it all went in, and Anthony showed  , taking him out.

"He's got big chips, he's pushing them around a bit.  Although he's raised, I think I've got the best hand, it's that simple."

Anthony Nicholls: 208,000!  That certainly is big chips.

D Sami is OUT.

Sami was tapping with queens preflop and came up against N Hussain's tens.

All the chips went in and, to Sami's dismay, a ten flopped and the local was sent packing.

A danger man is gone. Nice guy too.

'Has gears,' as Tony said.

Hi Jen,

Thanks for the updates, excellent job as usual.  "Harprit" Gurnam is well known to us all in Cardiff as RANA.  He has done as excellent job of keeping his real name from us for some time, but now his secrect is out... thanks

Steve Bovis is OUT.

All-in preflop, Bovis'  As was no match for N Hussain's  , and after no help on the board, Bovis exits the comp.

Good choice on backing Womble, Robert. For once, you're not giving someone the kiss of death.

Blinds are up - 1,000 - 2,000 now.

Micky Wernick took out young R. Shorcott, leaving DC as the only hat-wearer in the final four tables.  Fascinating tidbits, eh?  Micky now has about 100,000.  He'd raised in the small blind, and the young guy made a (big) move all-in.  Micky called "straight away" according to Mr. Hill with  two spades two hearts!  R. Shorcott held  and the deuces held.

Short-stacked Harprit Gurnam OUT -

He moved it in with  , and found raiser Luke Patten on  As .  The board came (non-suited) A 5 10 K 4 and by the turn it was all looking a bit like curtains.  And with that exit, they're down to three tables.
