Matt 'Lea and' Perrins -- 19k (He just bet 2,500 on a Two Clubs board and found a non-believer in Garinder Purewal, the latter mucking when Perrins showed him a nutrageous Q-J)

Another Red Dog hand for you.

UTG raises to 700. Red Dog calls in midposition with A-K. Everyone else folds.

K-x-x

UTG checks, Red Dog bets 1,500. UTG raises to 3,500. Both players have about 15k. Your move?

I'd flat and fold to any pressure on the turn. Hand is too under repped to give up on the flop. Obv depends on flop texture too

Following on from that just marvellous photo I took of Chili earlier, I give you:

LADYWATCH

Ms Maria Karanikki:

Also, Ms Tania Narine:

Both players seem to be on around their original starting, er, stacks.

I found Mr Kevin Smith, remarkably un-skierlike and full of hate for no-one as far as I can see. He's on around 6k at the moment, plus the blinds he nicked while I was watching. He raised to 600 utg and it folded around - much to his disappointment, as he turned over pocket jacks.

Alan Stearn, still unable to dispel rumours that he is descended from ants.

Also on the lady front, we have Chili down to just 4.3k and making faces every time I stroll past her table, and Tracy Dell on around 7k.

And for the sake of gender/species balance, in Manwatch, we have Ben Vinson on a healthy 20k, while in Dogwatch, the Red One is on a tasty 13k.

Dewi, fresh off of his glorious chopping of the £75 event last night, is on a very comfortable 21k.

Ralph "Karabiner" Shalson has enjoyed, in his own words, "a miracle".

With only around 5.5k to his name, he raised with pocket jacks and found a caller in Rana "Been On A Really Good Run And Has All The Chips" Gurnam on the button.

The flop came something like 6-2-9 and Karabiner bet out. Gurnam flat-called. Come the equally low and unthreatening turn, Karabiner thought something along the lines of, "oh f*** it," and went all in. A snap call, and Gurnam turned over pocket sixes for a flopped set.

River: jack

Karabiner up to 11k or so.

Insert own caption as appropriate:

Despite this minor setback, I declare Mr Gurnam our Current Chip Leader - storming ahead on around 45 or 50k.

A double up for Ms Andrea Gough, in one way or another (missed that bit) getting it in with on a three-diamond board against Mateyboy's three diamonds . An impassive Ms Gough up to 14k; a very dejected Matey within millimetres of the felt on just 4k.
