as abhorrent as this is i would say that the amount of abuse by trusted family members outweighs that of the priests.

Other family members usually won't condone it or hide it though, unlike the catholic church, where it is institutionalised and endemic:

No they didn't.  The dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki weren't actually necessary to bring an end to the war. But that's another discussion for another place and time.

Of course their use was totally unjustified. Still the only nation to have used a nuclear weapon against another country.

I am confused as to why so many people that don't believe in God/Religion/Faith force there opinion on people that do.  It also works the other way of course, however in my personal experience more people who are not religious force these beliefs than those who are.

who has the right to say God does or doesn't exist?  nobody can prove it either way, nothing is FACT.  I wish I could put my points across in a more eloquent way, but I cant.

I dont really know what to believe...

its called freedom of speech, enjoy it while it lasts. if i had my way, i'd ban religion, if the pope had his way we'd all be catholics, and so on
