Normally I'd have 1/2kg of steak mince and that would give me 3 portions of chilli. and about 1/2 my daily protein intake. I don't have time myself when I'm working to make food so have to make do with bars etc. to top me up.

I was up very late this afternoon and had my first lot of chilli at 6pm after the gym. Normally I'd eat more food and not be in bed until almost 3pm Cheesy

No chicken, turkey, fish or eggs for protein?

1/2kg of mince a day is pretty extreme if it's every day.

I really hate eggs, at a push I can handle french toast but I'm trying to cut out bread. I normally have a shake with oats for breakfast or an MRP which is basically the same thing and then have chicken/tuna for  my next meal.

Yeah I have the macros working out for 1/2kg of mince with Chilli Sauce which are 112g Protein, 55g Carbs and 50g fat.

Normally chicken is my staple food and sometimes I'll have fish for a change. Some days I'll get up late and have to start work not long after gym. I should have just ordered a Large chicken shish tbh and eaten that for last couple meals.

Start 154.2kg

Today 153.0kg

Difference = -1.2kg

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

I always fluctuate a lot the first couple of days, I'm guessing that's to do with water weight/retention?

Up 0.23 kg for me, must have been the Cornetto I sneaked in after dinner.

Roast Potato's, surely not an issue looking at Sunny's original diet to a proposed new one?

Absolute sigh at not playing cash with GurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrPREET at the weekend :-(

2 slices of wholemeal nimble toast with clover light for brekkie.
Cup a soup brought with me for lunch
Meatballs and couscous being made for my tea.

Got a tonne of low carb meal replacement shakes, bars and soups, the doc told me to lay off em until i've had all my tests done. They are the way to go imo in the short term, lost 3 stone a fair while ago on them obv piled it back on and more.

Its good the amount of people up for this.

I lost 3.5 stone earlier this year as a prop in 10 weeks.  Not saying I did it the healthy way, but weight can definitely fly off, keeping the calories down and upping the exercise.

I have since put some of it back on, so I know I still have bad eating habits to conquer.  My main "leak" is eating because it is a supposed meal time, rather than eating because I am actually hungry.

Anyway, I'm piggy-backing in on the health drive.  I want to lose the post-Vegas weight gain and get back into the gym. (cardio and classes mostly) Sinusitis atm so the gym is going to have to wait a few days.

Yesterday was a home-made smoothie for breakfast (banana, juice, strawberry, raspberry), fruit salad for lunch (watermelon, galia melon, nectarine, grapes) and (lots of) soup for dinner.  Water throughout the day.  No scooby snacks.

My diet will be better balanced than that from now, just a bit of a wake-up call on day 1.  Rather than "dieting" I have to remind myself what a sensible days eating looks like and get used to it.

No piggy backing allowed without a weigh in I'm afraid.

Day 1 diet looks impressive. Obviously it would be crap long term but as a detox kind of thing it looks awesome.

What's with the 2 slices of soreen? Do you mean malt loaf?

How do you have all your meals?

Any butter in the scrambled eggs?

Any butter on the soreen?

Anything else with the chicken and broccoli?

I don't think this applies too much to yourself because you're skinny as fook  but a lot of people seem to forget the extras when looking at what they eat.

That's the sort of thing I was hoping to see!!

Girgy and Sunny neck and neck after day 1 with something to battle for.

Much more interesting if people post their weights daily but as I said there's no pressure whatsoever.

A tiny bit of butter on the soreen -really thin, its quite moist anyway

Milk in the scrambled egg

Something moist with the chicken but I really have as little as possible, usually gravy, if not then a pre-made marinade type sauce, but most gets left

As an aside I have "done my knee" last night so will not be doing any aerobic exercise or squats for 4-6 weeks. Its a long standing injury. Basically I cant lock might right knee out, when I do I pop a ligament due to an old injury. I slipped last night and locked out my knee. The bad bit is that the painful thing is popping it back straight, i nealry puked. [  ] nice
