Fuelled on by a day-old mix of fajitas, nachos, buritos, tortillas and chicken (almost ate Nando's of Islington dry during a secret Wednesday lunchtime visit), Vinny Concarni duly took down the first renewal of the new double-chance Mogadon Thursday.
Chasing him home in second was online sensation Jonnyplums Johnson, with Jason ("no relation to Steve") Spring in third. Andreas Kuntz finished fourth, behind Springy and, of course, distant relative Aperra Kuntz.
Fifteen points to fifteen bellies and 12pts to Chuck. Feel this one is gonna be a record-breaking scoring month for some reason.

One such, last night, was the delightfully named Andreas Kuntz. A less than modest gentleman, who arrived on the final table with a chipstack toppling as if a Bavarain Schloss on a rocky hillside, and announced to no one in particular
"I can do nothing and finish 2nd or 3rd now" and proceeded to play 70% of hands from most positions, mostly unconventionally
The final was wending its merry way to torpor when said Andreas was UTG and he moved as if to fold. The cards went across the betting line, and just as UTG+2 was about to act, they were withdrawn and he announced, with a sickly smile
"All-In"
Eyebrows raised, mutters were heard.
I should have stopped myself, but I pronounced
"Look mate, we can all be Kuntz like you if you like, less of the moodies please"
To be fair to celtic, sitting in seat 10, he had the wherewithal to get the pun and laughed heartily. The other 8 seats looked ashen, and looked down or away, but not at me. Tumbleweed went across the table. I don't think my German friend understood, which is just as well......

Mr Kuntz was opening pots at 50/100 with gentle 2k bets - then check/folding most of the time if anyone called.
After establishing he wasn't Dutch, and was indeed from the Fatherland, I quizzed him about his knowledge of British TV programmmes.
Yup, Fritz knew all about Fawlty Towers .......
I wonder if a 'Dick Lynch' will land on the mat today?
