Happy to chuck a few hundred in for a bit of fun at Romford n the next superstar (joke of course, smiley face and all that). Seems there might be a few interested. Maybe worth starting a new thread Arbboy? Nothing like a night at the dogs to bring people together.

Scotty, I see an old fav of yours Genesis Demenster is running in an A1, obvs she has gone off the boil but must be capable of moving back up, must be about finding her at the right time?

Pretty bad nights racing by Hove standards tonight.
I've bet one, "Who needs pace" in the sprint @ 2/1. Considering adding Bonnamassa Rocks too but unsure at the moment!
I was also getting ready to have everything on Leathams Desire before he was withdrawn.
Anyone even bothered to have a look?!

i followed Coolavanny Gooch on all his exploits at Henlow. He raced at Hove last week and lost. Running tonight but he is in trap 5 and from what i remember seeing him at Henlow he was a railer. Havent looked at the form or anything but just saw on oddschecker that he was running. Might help now t4 has been withdrawn. Not putting up as a bet as too many negatives (sometimes im a bookies dream as i cant resist backing him myself). However i think he is def one to watch and see what he does over the coming months.

I did have a little look at him too, improved upon his trial last week but still got caught. Should have the early to clear based on Henlow unless he does turn immediately left out of the traps - which I don't know as i've not seen him run? Wouldn't need to find too many lengths to win tonight if going round infront again tbf.

No he doesnt turn left but is def fast enough to lead at first bend (he was in all of the races i saw him run at Henlow) but he does tend to come back to the pack near the line. Might try and watch the race tonight to see how he gets on. One of those dogs that i have just fallen in love with (helps that he has made me a mint in the process)

Me and my good lady thinking about a night at Nottingham dogs either tomorrow or Saturday night.
Dont know much about the dogs although I read this thread occasionally and impressed by the stuff posted.
Is there a better day to go or will it be much the same?
Any tips too.
Cheers

Best day quality wise to go nottingham dogs is Monday night. They have their highest quality card on Monday night which is shown in the betting shops. Doubt there will be much difference between Friday and Saturday night. Friday night card is also shown in the betting shops. enjoy!

Your dog in 5 stayed straight til the line then moved left but hadn't cleared the dogs inside him by this point, 6 was on his shoulder too having moved middle himself and left it a bit bunched at the bend, Rocks just stayed rails and off the 2nd bend was level but beat them all for middle pace and stayed on strongly enough. Anyone had a look tonight?

A fair few prices I like tonight - looks like i'm not being massively selective but I think at the prices these dogs are worth a penny or two from me....
802 Toosey Flash 5/1 818 Macnab 5/1 906 Marizion Maeve 5/2 924 Borna Manna 2/1 (NAP) 940 Vanayamzaman 6/1 1011 Beaming Senor 4/1 1040 Pharisee Flyer 9/1
Plenty of reasons for betting each, if anyone fancies anything or disagrees with mine post them up!

t6 in 940 got a dream draw. I have had a decent bet on 6 to beat 4 in a match bet in race at ladbrokes at 10/11. 6 is a sole wide. 4 is a railer with quick dogs either side of it. Looks drawn for trouble. Can see why you like the 6 at that price with its draw. Only negative is it's trial time which was poor but might not need much here if trouble in race.

I thought that would be the race I get picked apart on a bit to be honest!! Surprised to see someone agree, that's an interesting price vs the 4 dog, I see trouble in that race with 5 moving slightly left on run up last week too. 6 as you say should have a solo to the bend, hopefully it can go round clean and find a couple of lengths on the clock.
