I got suckered into the 8/15 Rox dream this afternoon on the machine when it was 1/3 in the ring. I should know better that it is never stealing money at cray in the golden jacket it's the grave yard of all grave yards for jollies but I thought it was bomb proof. On looking a bit deeper it has hardly ever been as far out as t5 so there was probably a reason why it was friendless on the machine.
Something happened this afternoon on the bags comms which I have never heard in 10 years of doing the dogs. Commentary said from the boxes ' one leads up from seven and 3' there is a betfair forum thread on how bad the comms are on the bags but it must be a soul destroying job sitting in a boothon your own for hours on end doing a8 comms from cray and Romf on a thurs afternoon. I personally think the comms generally are good on the bags service. Errol darryl take their turns amongst several other decentish comms. There is one guy who is just awful though and literally just shouts and his voice gets louder and louder as the race nears a finish. Shouty man as he is known in the betfair forum. Slobber chops is another poor one as he literally sounds like he is dribbling from the mouth as he comms!
I've never listened to it, where do get it from?
All the major firms have a link to it for dog comms they all pay together to fund it. Sis provide it at their hq in Milton keynes along all the other sis stuff they do with atr etc.
Oh ok, Jenny is up at evens with Bubbly Time at 11/4, I really hope Bubbly doesn't win it, it use to be called Festival time I think and was running quite well, then the Champayne club bought it and when it changed its name it seemed to go off the boil, I stopped following it after a while, was tempted by the big ante post price but decided against it, hope it doesn't come back to haunt me.
Will u be laying Jenny if she gets too short?
I haven't seen the draw yet tbh but I learnt again today the perils of backing a shortie at cray.

Couldn't agree more with Festival/Bubbly time. Thought it was a dog to follow when it ran on sky card in its last race as Festival Time, looked an absolute world beater. As you say it hasn't shown much at all since and like yourself I looked at it before the comp and ruled it out because of that form.
Think your 40/1 Black Francis has a decent shout myself on first glance.

Seems to be a few decent races tonight, Lough Messi returns and as usual is odds against until he proves yet again that he is a fabulous dog. Looking forward to seeing Flawless Floyd return from Crayford and Sovient Kenny was a non runner last time out but hopefully will stay in tonight. I don't really have time for sprints but some of the Millwards dogs are flying so I'll be interested to see what Millwards Ozil does tonight. Be good to hear others views before I go steaming in.

Strange how that can happen to dogs, you probably know more than most being an ex kennel hand, has it changed trainer? Could it be down to a new training regime? Or is it just a case of timing that the dog went off the boil, coincidence as such?
I'm certainly not ruling Black Francis out but Jenny might just be making up for the failure last year although it does prove she is capable of throwing in a shocker, I personally think it is wide open, even Millwards Katy is in with a chance as the Millwards seem to be popping up everywhere.

I remember Millwards Ozil winning last week when he ping and won well, no reason he shouldn't do it tonight and I hnk the 5/2 is a bit of a steal.

It's very strange i've no idea. I can't remember who it was with before Bubbly syndicate to be honest.
Dogs are impossible to understand most of the time, that's why they say you can't really beat a bitch in form I guess!

Anyway, onto tonight. Here is my three fancies, i've gone against you Omm....
8:02 Mash Mad Rumble 4/1 - Caught the eye in a sprint last time against Trade Victorious when it actually led it to the bend and this is an easier task. Victorious would be very short vs this field. The 6 dog impressed last week, Rumble has the experience, draw and trapping ability to be infront at the first bend.
9:06 Dians Shadow 3/1 (
NAP
) - Looks an absolute different class to these and 3/1 is a
must bet
for any punter tonight IMO!!!
10:26 Rio Minstrel 9/2 - Took a flyer on this one in its return last week and it just got caught. Think it can go clear again and be fitter tonight to reach the line infront.

Yeah I can u deerstalker d the get on MMR as that race against TV was an eye catcher, just hoping MO does what he did last week and still being fresh Im thinking it's more likely than not. Your the second person that I've seen put up Dians Shadow, certainly worth a bet if you both feel that strong key about it and it's already 6/4 in parts. Good luck tonight.

Yeah 3/1 available B365 at the moment. Be surprised if it goes off bigger than 6/4 on track tonight.

Sky are doing some match bet specials to go along with the Twitter Romford cup, some good match ups.
I have no idea what I was talking about when writing deerstalker above.

3/1 does look big the nap. No idea why 365 holding the 3/1 they will lay it at 9/4 if they want. Lads got filled in for their opening 2/1 so if punters willing to take that so early must go off very short.

Seems like the easiest bet to lay for someone like you while they hold the 3/1, no?

It's awesome in theory. Just getting four figures on the 3/1 to make it worth while is the only problem. Even though they clearly want to lay it as they are still 3/1 and must have seen plenty of cash for it if you open a new account and have a max bet the account will be closed win or lose.
