What made you think it would ever be any shorter than it was ante post when the short priced good thing has sailed through in style omm?  I didn't see the races last night but it would have had to have broke the track record for it to be a 5/1 poke.

Very true mate, these 5am mornings to walk the dogs are playing havoc with my brain. Have a look at the races on YouTube (greyhounds now) if u get the chance, quite impressive.

Not to mention it doesn't stay the full trip and can only win/qualify in one way. Whereas you feel RD & others have enough pace to make up for any early accidents/missed breaks.

Went a long way clear yesterday, which you would expect given its 6 bend form but came back to the field from the 6/7th and doubly quick from the last.

That being said I didn't have a very good night last night, I have two antepost left in, Droopys Marian (33s) and Rearguard Bond (25s) who I added late yesterday afternoon.

Forgot to say well done Matty, great winner.

Thanks, 1/3 on the night, but the 1 was a delightful price so well happy!

You backed Star Mirren Sky?

Scotty called the race right but I think he forgot to put it up here as he had mention it to me in the morning after I asked about High Falcon (sometimes things just get forgotten) great that we are putting a few up again on a Friday night, I usually play poker life on Fridays so it's pretty difficult to post while pretending I'm concentrating but hopefully we can carry on trying to find a few winners.

I like your ante post book, some interesting picks (I'll certainly put on a couple of quid for interests. I quite liked the 40/1 on Black Francis, got to admit I put the bet on when it had a couple of fantastic runs and pre trailing so it was a bit of a punt as I'm not sure it's still on the boil but it's only a few quid for an interest. It's obvious that Roxholme Dream oozes talent and is the best dog in the race but backing it at the current price is madness, by all means Crayford is a shorter track to the first corner(?) meaning potential for more trouble at the bend? Anyway should be great no matter what. Scotty has been promising to put up a few and he usually finds one at a decent price that goes ver close.

Matty are u in the RomfordFA Cup on Twitter, I didn't do this one but will get in the next, I know scotty is through after SMS won his match bet. Well done mate, if u get in the final I'm having a bet on you as Sky put up match get prices!!!

Nice rubs Omm, I'm out!

Short priced jolly out in jacket R Dream.  In trouble at 3rd bend when 2nd behind t4.  Was friendless on betfair went off 8/15 (1/3 sp with firms).  Chicago is out as well in the first semi who someone put up on here as it couldn't outcome it's bad draw in t4.

I mentioned Chicago but Matty wasn't too keen on it and after I rewatched the race he was right it was coming back to the field too much to win in this class. I have luck boxed Black Francis in the final at 40/1, briefly mentioned it earlier (not as a recommend more an after thought) as I placed the bet weeks before the Decs and final runners when it was running out of its skin, hopefully it might go all the way now RD is out.

first and 2nd jollies out in 3rd semi as well.  Jacket chaos provided as usual and no ante post fav has still ever won it.  Racenight Jenny going to be a short price in the final.

It was 40/1 before todays heats and looking at its run last week where he was stopped almost every bend I couldn't work out why he was so big. I didn't pull the trigger though as I forgot the heats were today!!

Gutted to see Droopys Marian has broke her hock badly today in the heats too Sad

I got suckered into the 8/15 Rox dream this afternoon on the machine when it was 1/3 in the ring. I should know better that it is never stealing money at cray in the golden jacket it's the grave yard of all grave yards for jollies but I thought it was bomb proof. On looking a bit deeper it has hardly ever been as far out as t5 so there was probably a reason why it was friendless on the machine.

Something happened this afternoon on the bags comms which I have never heard in 10 years of doing the dogs. Commentary said from the boxes ' one leads up from seven and 3'  there is a betfair forum thread on how bad the comms are on the bags but it must be a soul destroying job sitting in a boothon your own for hours on end doing a8 comms from cray and Romf on a thurs afternoon.  I personally think the comms generally are good on the bags service. Errol darryl take their turns amongst several other decentish comms. There is one guy who is just awful though and literally just shouts and his voice gets louder and louder as the race nears a finish.  Shouty man as he is known in the betfair forum.  Slobber chops is another poor one as he literally sounds like he is dribbling from the mouth as he comms!

All the major firms have a link to it for dog comms they all pay together to fund it. Sis provide it at their hq in Milton keynes along all the other sis stuff they do with atr etc. there would never be any reason for you to listen to it unless you are betting on bags. Most of the punters on here focus on the live rpgtv and sky cards so it is never an issue

Oh ok, Jenny is up at evens with Bubbly Time at 11/4, I really hope Bubbly doesn't win it, it use to be called Festival time I think and was running quite well, then the Champayne club bought it and when it changed its name it seemed to go off the boil, I stopped following it after a while, was tempted by the big ante post price but decided against it, hope it doesn't come back to haunt me.

Will u be laying Jenny if she gets too short?
