matt chapman is really tilting tonight on sky dogs tonight.  I don't usually mind his berating of the on course layers but the guys at hove will lay a real bet to real money.  Fair play to chaz miller (30 year + veteran of the hove ring who does lay a bet) there (father of Kate miller - ex hills pr director) for basically telling him to stfu live on sky when questioned about whether he lays a bet and how much money he made on the last race.  Anyone on the machine knew t3 in the super stayers was an awful result for the layers.  Chapman said 'why didn't you back it at skybet this morning at 5/2 and lay it at 7/4 tonight?'

Chaz said 'i went into the sky and got a £5/2 at skybet then laid it for bundles at 7/4'  Fair play to Chaz for exposing live on sky to the casuals that these firms don't lay these mythical prices in the day which Chapman barks about.  If chapman thinks it is that easy to be a dog layer get on the machine yourself Matt and have a go instead of taking your risk free £300 a night before tax sky fee.  It is very easy standing in the ring with your top man suit and dodgy haircut saying 'it was 5/2 this morning with 365 and skybet' but these tight layers are only going 2/1.  The difference is these layers will lay you a £6k/3k at the track where as you will get a £10/4 at skybet in the morning.  Someone who has the experience chapman has really should stfu sometimes and stop making himself look even more clueless than he already looks.

Could be interesting viewing.  Chapman has tried to tilt him twice now.  Chaz is a big old boy who used to be a tasty egg chaser back in the day.  What price he lays out Chappers live on sky?

I need to listen to his nonsense most days in the shop, too much! Agree about the tilting-ness on Sky nights, I don't know if he is trying to appeal to the masses but comes across as a mug.

I like Borna Karma's chances in the 8:50 at Romford tonight. Big drop in class from what she has been facing recently. Nothing in tonight's race has performed anything like Karma at Romford and it's not as if anything has been setting the world alight elsewhere. She has impressed recently, showing a mix of early and then also showing decent ability to run on, which is new for her. I reckon 5 comes out slow and she paces up in the lead or close to the lead and just proves fastest - throw in the recent sub 3:70 sectionals and it's over early.

In recent races against the likes of Evanta Fantasy and Millwards Katy she's went off at 2/1, 5/2 and 3/1 - she's 5/2 in one place at the moment, 365, which given the drop in class and price comparison makes her a must bet for me. Think we missed the 11/4 Lads earlier.

Meh, no price. The 5 was pulled out who was likely 2nd fave.

EDIT: After careful consideration (two mins), I think he's backable even still.

English Greyhound Derby-BFSB are standout price for Droopys Ward at 41.0 Next best odds are all 34.0 so will be an easy lay back at 36.0 when/if Betfair's price drops...

As a sweetener they also offer (up to) a £25 free bet if Droopys Nidge wins (favourite at 21.0).

William Hil are also doing an offer that if your dog doesn't qualify first round then u get a free bet. Saw Ballymac Matt had a nice trail this week.

Less than 24 hours before the start of the best sporting event of the year!

I've got so many antepost wagers and I still haven't finished looking through Day 4's (Saturday) lineup yet...

I'll post a few of my better fancies when I get through that - if I posted them all i'd be on here all night, what is everyone else on?

They all have a chance it is 33/1 the field!  It's like the grand national times three. Anything can win this donkfest. An a6 Romford grader won it last year.
