30 minutes Mark Wallis interview, talks about how he got started and his most memorable moments. Worth a listen if you have time, if just to hear him say he would have no other dog for the Derby than Bruisers Bullet πŸ˜‚.

http://youtu.be/2WHvEg8JYt8

(Don’t think I’ll ever learn to embed these)

First round draw will be on Sunday.

This time of year really makes me want to own a Greyhound again.

Hi Ommy,

Have sorted that link now, & see my previous post where I have embedded it.

That’s fantastic, you must be very proud to be part of a group that has had an Irish and Scottish Derby finalist, must be hopeful of the triple crown πŸ˜€. He was mentioned in one of the videos of the type of dog that flies under the radar but always seems to do the business.

Droopy’s Wilbury done a nice 28:46 on its return run last night and Fred’s are 125/1 for Derby, good enough for the team, 1pt ew.

The Derby draw is live at 1pm today on Towcester.tv app

http://greyhoundstar.co.uk/full-derby-draw/

Droopy's Davy is in Race six on Saturday and seems to have a dream draw. T6 with a vacant in 5. Sb have still got 25/1 so I'm having another 2pts ew.

Race 5 on Saturday is mouthwatering, Tyrur Shay, Dorotas Vic, Bubbly Bluebird and Bull Run Button - four to qualify so all should have a shout.

Same night, Race 7 is Black Farren and The Other Reg meeting again after the Scottish Derby final, would imagine Sicilian is happy with that draw - looking at the prices 50's might be a price to have Farren onside, will decide before kickoff.

Thurs race 4, I want to keep an eye on Lenson Blinder, Len Ponder specifically bought this dog (previous name NoHoldBarred) a few weeks ago in Ireland just for the Derby. We are on at 100/1 boosted with Hills. Four to qualify.

Thurs race race 9 is a cracker - 4 to qualify and this has Rising Brandy, Dorotas Wildcat, DropZone and Newinn Shadow.

Plenty to work with and the excitement is boiling over.

Missed out race 3 on Friday - Bruisers is in with Oi Oi Upenalty which is the bitch that is fav to go furthest with StarSports and Lofty thinks will go well. As well as Clonbrien Hero and Saleen Ash. - Again 4 to qualify.

ben keith (derby sponsor - owner of star sports) is on RPGTV tonight. Decent watch and listen with the best two other presenters tonight if anyone is bored.  Plenty of derby chat.  Decent open card at Nottingham as well.

wildcat ever going to get a decent draw/heat?

With most races 4 to go through wildcat has to be must be desperately unlucky not to make it, could have been easy of course. Bound to be a few upsets, the track will get the blame of course for having sweeping bends.
