Nice work tonight Scotty.  Nap needs further than 400m had a solo and never got going in time.  VWP on the others.  Post more!

It definitely needed further but thought the race wouldn't have taken much winning if it could trap and pace up like it has previously. Obviously not. Had a little success with backing 575m dogs with true early at 400m though, Head Iton Tom for example.

Well done last night Scott. I missed them, as I was busy elsewhere, but keep putting them up please.

The Rose Bowl first round heats are tonight from Romford and I'm having one decent bet.

Ballymac Luke goes in heat 3 at 8:28 and is available to back at 5/2 with Ladbrokes, whilst shorter elsewhere. The draw is all important here - he's not a consistently great starter but is capable of decent trapping/EP - being in trap one with slower away sorts in two and three will allow him to hold his pitch on the rails with even a standard break and leading on the inside and turning either in the lead or one off should see him go very well, given he has "RnOn" and "RnOnWll" in his last two races here (both 2nds), both in good times.

On those last two runs he let one dog get too far away and found trouble but he should get a cleaner run. As for the competition, the Hometown Day of earlier in the year would be the favourite but apart from a 400m win last week hasn't done too much to suggest he is back to anything like that form. Adoremus looks like he could be decent but hasn't trapped last twice and even then might find it difficult to clear them from 5. Tyrur Gabrielle is the danger from 6 but would need a snap break to get away from this field.

Luke is worth a small bet at the price.

Airport Captain, one of my favourites, and Sinbad should oblige in the earlier two heats but are priced accordingly I guess.

nice to have the 3 open race heats on the monday bags at romford with the final on friday i assume on RPGTV.  they used to always have 3 open heats on a monday virtually every week with the final friday but it's been a long time since i have seen monday open's.

Airport hoses up after bad start.  Nice start Scotty with Airport gives the Sinbad form a big boost from last time out for the 2nd heat.  Would imagine Sinbad will go off shorter than the 6/4 currently available.

Coral gone nuts on this race.  3/1 Sinbad is max bet material if you can get it.
