Red is definitely too big but I have ties to the Locke kennel and pray MESSI can do it again for Maxine!

Shocking card really don't understand how there is 6 graded races. Oh well, I'll be there anyway!

Trainers Championship on sky tonight. I always enjoy this event it normally goes to the wire. Wallis will take some beating but Cahill has a strong looking team and 7/2 looks tempting to me.

Punters rolling up for this evenings dogs on 212?

I have access to the channel for the next 2 hrs so I'm going to be putting a few up.

I'm not Scotty/Arb or Omm but hopefully we can get a few winners.

8:02 Romford - I like the T4, has good early and if he can lead the bitch in T2 he could power on and it could be over and done with as quick as they come out.    Have to respect the mn gamble on the T3.

Combo f/c and t/c on the 345 for quids.

8:10 Sunderland

I'm not for playing odds on at tracks like Sunderland but George in T2 is the class act.  Should lead the T1 up and its game over off the 2nd bend as he powers clear.  There could be trouble with the wide seeds and T3 might get a nice pass round, if I was backing for the sake of it.  I'd do a f/c 2-1, 2-3 and a combo tricast of the 123.

That's why I don't do odds on shots at tracks like Sunderland.  I have a list of tracks I wouldn't touch an odds on jolly at and Sunderland is right up there on that list.  There was trouble but now how I saw it.

8:18 Romford

Coin flip between the T2 and T6 for me. and the betting would suggest similar.  The T1 coming out though is a big + for the T2 and with loads of early place if he can rail the 2nd turn he should take the beating.  T2 for me.

First bet of my Greyhound Derby portfolio this year has just been made...

Southfield Jock 66/1 - Still only young however in his 7 races to date has shown some great pace, to add to this he flew round Kinsley earlier in the week in preperation for the Gymcrack. Hopefully he can stay fit leading up to the Derby and we take our chance at this price. Definitely one of the fastest youngsters around but still available at 66/1 when most are half that price.

Matty/scotty

I saw a reply of Ballymac Mossjoe last night at Sheffield, thought it was quite impressive, seems to have been making some nice progress, Derby possibility?

Serious dog that's for sure. Can't see why it wouldn't be Wimbledon bound either and current quotes of 100/1 seem fair.

Both look like good sorts, good luck. I added a couple last week who both ran stinkers at the Trainers Champs.

Away  thoughts on Laughing Gravy at 11/8 tomorrow?

I expected him to be slightly shy of evens so was pleasantly pleased by the price. Obviously the fastest dog in the race but feel like his price is made by Dower Matt who despite still being a top dog here is displaying more inconsistency. Lots of early in the race but LG surely has the best of it and has lengths on the clock on these. Looking for views as don't often back them this short and often get them wrong.

Also, I can't not back Elaines Boy in the race before. 7/2 on first show. Backed him last week in similar circumstances where market was based around the reopposing Southfield Noir. Bet based on Noir looking like a potential negative from T1 and this being a standard open where Boy's consistency can prove vital. Repeat performance where he turns handy and proves strongest. Bantam in 5 can pace up on occasion but may move slightly left. Thoughts welcomed again.

Would rather back trap 6 at 10/1+ to be honest.

Will have a proper look in the morning at the rest of the card.

Think that's definitely a fair shout. Potentially could fly out take LG's ground and run 24:00.

Yeah when this dog comes out, it's normally on an elastic band! Has the times infront to win if turning the corner there.
