I think the bookies will be competitive on track,
Best advice for Derby Night:
Don't even bother with the books on the night.
Take your phone. Use Betfair all night.
Back plenty of winners.

This advice could be given for any sport, anywhere and any meeting of Greyhounds ever.
It's not rocket science really. However it doesn't replace the happiness of winning cash off of a bookie on track, it's all about the pickup!

salonika looks quite long in the 7.26? Thought it was quite underrated for its performances in the derby. Think the two rags heat for the 20.33 is being over harshly viewed.
Think millwards davy might snatch second in the derby, but already in for that AP

The 7.26 is such a tough race imo, gun to head i'd bet Swift Keith at prices but luckily I don't have gun to head!
Hurdles be hurdles lol, anyone can win and imo the favourite is not drawn very well and too short.
I'm just off out now but will post selections later tonight.

Yes definitely great value about - alot of variation in prices too which is great to see for a change!
I've only had a couple of bets really, tomorrow is more about the drinking and Eden the Kid!
Trebles & Acca :
6.56 Ballybree Brewery 7/2
7.59 Forest Twilight 15/8
8.16 King Kane 5/1
8.51 Old Joe Golden 10/3
And a trixie :
7.26 Swift Keith 4/1
7.59 Forest Twilight 9/4
8.16 King Kane 7/1
I really like King Kane at the 7/1 available. It's a tough race no doubt but I think he gets round the bend in front and they don't catch him, 7/1 very big imo.

Agree tha the 7/1 for someone of Kane's standard is big but did u see his last race and how Droopys Tamara took him apart? Have to say I'm sticking with Tamera until the price is no longer viable.
Goodluck tonight to everyone with an interest. As much as I want Rio Quattro to win I just can't see how or who beats the fav, pp are going 2.25 and he will prob start odds on.
So excited can't wait.

Watch the race again I've seen it ten times. Kane beats Tamera for early and checks up the 1 dogs arse at first bend, then goes to go past at 3-4 bend and 1 moves off into him, Tamera gets a dream run after Kane is checked and quickly goes 5 clear. Kane then gets bumped trying to get past again at 5-6 by which point Tamera is 7 up. Complete overreaction IMO.

Something else to consider with Kane's trainer Diane Henry. It is her biggest night of her life tonight in the Derby final and she is such an obcessive with her dogs is it not hard to think Kane will not be in tip top shape and received her 247 undivided attention which it will have done in previous big events as it is only natural to assume she has focused on the Derby runner all week?
Kane withdrawn off colour per RP. Probably means Henry doesn't want the bad kenneling Kane travelling with the Derby hope in the van!

It's not like she has the biggest kennel and Kane isn't a rag in it. It's hard to think that Kane would be on his bed all week.
Kane is a bad kenneler, I'm hoping tonight he stays calm and gets shit done.

OMG.
Could champan, Odds on enzo and hobbsy look any more budget in their black tie outfits which are not proper black tie! At least Errol is old enough to look the part. Get a white shirt that is designed for black tie with a turned up collar not a £10 effort from Burton's you cheap stake mugs.
Champan hasn't even tucked his shirt in properly into his trousers!
