Head of dogs at lolbrokes Harkness (coowner of winner) got a decent pay day now to cover potentially losing his job when lolbrokes and coral merge.

Big thank you for those dogs. Had all 5 in £3e/w doubles up to fivefold.

Managed to cover other dogs in last leg, so made a healthy profit.

Thanks again.

What a great night of racing.  Some incredible finishes all night.  Great tipping by the lads on here as well.

40/1 after early rounds, just bet on what I saw, but lets be honest, the sweepstake win was more skillful then my dog judging skills (in before someone mentions my horses lately). Think omm was equally positive which was more than good enough for me.

Had bish e/w aswell after semi draw.

Congrats on the sweep.

Was a great success on the track tbh. Was checking my internet watching the A4 480 at newcastle straight after the derby, thought it was lagging.

Lovely, congrats to you and the other shrewdies who've had it right off.

As for horses, my best result today was a non runner...

Cheers, should keep me in forum comps until Xmas if I'm lucky Smiley

Havent got the time to do a big right up but ill put up what i have done for those that want a little sweat

Newinn Yolo 33/1 e/w with Hills (taking advantage of their 1st round offer)
Ballymac Matt 40/1         41.0 bf win only
Rio Quattro 100/1          101.0 bf win only
Coolavanny Gooch 200/1     450.0 bf win only

Ante post

Droopys Ward 66/1
Quietly 66/1
Lenson Sanchez 50/1 (can get bigger now but not as in form as he was)

Fairytale story would be for Coolavanny Gooch to do very well as ive been following the dog all of last year, seemed to be a star in the making and im just hoping Mr Gardner has got it right for the Derby.

Good luck all.

If anyone wants to watch all of the first round races then subscribe to Greyhounds Now (Nowso) on YouTube.

Only Ballymac Matt not making it through from my ante post. I've added the following

Blonde Nipper 100/1 ew and 120.0 win only
Swift Hoffman 40/1 ew

And after watching all the videos this morning I'm thinking about putting Viking Jack in the armoury.

Really pleased with how Droopys Ward ran, love the dog, had him last year when he came 2nd, what a great servant he has been to his owners.

Any others stand out to anyone?

Caught up with the racing, some great performances, really like the consistency of Newinn Yolo, 28:03? Doesn't that beat the old track record? Could be wrong, but seems to be getting better with every round, def needs to be cause as Matty says heat 5 could be the final. First three still qualify. Looks like it will be curtains for Gooch as he is in the same race, his last performance was the same as his first and although he is gutsy and just does enough he will need to improve a lot of get a lot of luck to get past the nex lot, it is dog racing though so anything can happen. Really pleased with Viking Jack, Quietly and Blonde Nipper, Lenson Sanchez through as well, just the Hoff that went out and was a bit unlucky but there u go. Droopy plugs n as well. Overall very pleasing.

Oi oi oi , really can't complain with the result, my biggest ever win on the dogs and 100/1 Derby winner, would have been more but I really fancied Blitz to win it and had a chunk on this week. Over the moon really. To watch it live was a right experience as well, kids loved it even though they were getting pushed from pillar to post it was so packed, gonna watch all the races now as I really didn't get to see most of them, anyway very very happy man. Well done all that played and won.

Yes definitely great value about - alot of variation in prices too which is great to see for a change!

I've only had a couple of bets really, tomorrow is more about the drinking and Eden the Kid!

Trebles & Acca :

6.56 Ballybree Brewery 7/2
7.59 Forest Twilight 15/8
8.16 King Kane 5/1
8.51 Old Joe Golden 10/3

And a trixie :

7.26 Swift Keith 4/1
7.59 Forest Twilight 9/4
8.16 King Kane 7/1

I really like King Kane at the 7/1 available. It's a tough race no doubt but I think he gets round the bend in front and they don't catch him, 7/1 very big imo.

3/4 winners (Kane was withdrawn)... Won a few quid and had a great night.

Remember having my biggest bet of Derby final night 2014 on Rio Quattro in the puppy race and he shit round, was nice to see him win again although i'd have loved Eden more. Smiley

Do u think it's an omen for Teds Last? How he won from there I'll never know, think he even had to check up twice in the race.

Well done on the winners.
