That's Jerry Orbach. Whilst he was Baby's dad, he was Lt Lenny Briscoe, the quick-witted cop in Law and Order.

Have been catching up on Hannibal, after watching the first episode when it was broadcast and recording the rest. Only one episode behind now, but enjoying it.

Still keeping a distance from the standard cop/detective/CSI show, although I thought the Laurence Fishburne's marriage issues storyline was really weak.

Haven't read the books, so apologies if that's a set up and she gets munched later on.

Same as the last 2 seasons. Episode 9 has had the big event and Episode 10 has been the wrapping up/preparing for next season episode.

Watching the Bridge on dvd at the moment.  I don't watch a lot of Euro programs and have to say this is very good.  Danish and Swedish cop thing, very well made.  Worth checking out - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1733785/

The Killing, also a Danish cop show, was excellent, but in a more slower paced style. Also enjoyed The Spiral, corrupt Parisian cops, the Law & Politics all mixed up.
