I've just finished watching Oz, what a cracking program that was.  One of HBO's first series I believe.   It's an interesting prison drama with so many interesting characters.   If you can handle a lot of violence and a fair bit of man lovin' (it's not strictly all lovin')  it's definitely one to check out.

Final few episodes of the latest SoA season next, then it's off to see what's next on my list.

I didn't like to put it as if I only enjoyed it for the violence, it is very violent, very very violent.   It has some cracking storylines to it too.

You'd love it

Have now finished the wire, did 5 seasons in 2 weeks!!!!

agree with many that it was a fantastic TV series, and i personally liked how it ended, with Jimmy seeming, at least to me, to realise that it will be a never ending story, with only the names of the characters changing, the game will go on

snap, same here.

Loved it, superb TV. Really satisfied with how lots of the new characters were doing stuff the old characters were in the beginning.

I almost wept when Bubbles finally got to have dinner with his sister (spoiler)

I'm really blessed that the best two TV shows I've ever seen (this and Breaking Bad) I watched back to back in the space of about three months. TV will seem pretty shit after this.

My fave scenes (dont click if you havent seen it because spoilers obvs)

Great, great show!

Was my top show for a long time, but then Coach Taylor came along...

I think my favourite shows change places, dependent on my mood Smiley

That's different. When I say 'TV show' I mean HBO style boxset drama. The Simpsons is a cartoon. I also really like 'For the love of dogs' presented by Paul O'Grady almost as much but that's in the 'camp light entertainment presenter showing us dogs who have had it hard but then get great owners' category.

I'm surprised you were unaware of this very clear classification system that I just made up on the spot.

FTLOD is immense. Will add Snog Marry Avoid to that list (the Jenny Frost version).
